Hello,

I am not sure about all the paperwork as I am goign through everything daily. I am sending the Ds3032 through email as soon as it is available.

Read the guides and if anything is not in there then always feel free to ask. someone will have an answer lol .

As for taxes, My husband filled married filing jointly and we used a w-7 for myself. It took three weeks to get the itin and is currently being assessed by the Irs centre. For us it seemed like a great way to go. Pm me if you have any questions about the w-7.

get ready for your noa-2's ...everyone seems to be rigth on track :P

Well as long as you sent in a marriage license and the bare minimum, you should be able to get through without much of a problem. I sent some stuff but i didnt go overboard as the nvc and interview are when you send tons of paperwork.

If you get a rfe atleast you would know what you need to send in already, just be prepared and stay calm.

It will work out :P

Let me know!

Proof of a bonafide marriage is really about showing you have a real and ongoing relationship. The marriage license and certifcate show you had intent and then later married. There is a difference. A joint bank account is good. However, don't sweat it as you've already put your petition in motion. There's not much point in worrying about it. If they require more information from you re the bonafides, then you'll receive a request for evidence and you can send them additional information at that point. You could very easily get through to NOA1 without all the things you didn't send, as per your post.

Good luck.

I've been keeping an eye on the Dec 2009 filers and things are moving along. Two more posted that they received their NOA2s accordingly. That's good news. California is moving them along. I'm really hopeful that Jan filers will be addressed within March.

I saw today that James and Fe, Jan filers, were approved as of March 2nd !!

So Jan filers are starting to become a reality. I know there are still plenty of Dec or earlier filers waiting and I was pleasantly surprised to see Jan filers with NOA2. It doesn't look like an expedited case here so things are moving along nicely.

You can find it via Igor's list - check out everyone's petitions ie approved, not approved yet etc.

But here's James and Fe's - I sent a PM to them to inquire if it was an expedited file but they said it wasn't. So they got lucky for sure and good for them. Hopefully we'll also get that lucky really soon !!!

BTW, we almost have the same timeline!!! Hope we get our NOA2s soon enough! James and Fe's took 57 days! Roughly, that would be by the end of the week for us!
