Hey guys,I have a question...I received my NOA1 hardcopy last weekend and wanted to check my case status with the receipt # today,but it says the case does not exist!Am I doing anything wrong like using the wrong number or so?

Double check the receipt number and if you still don't have it on file, call them. Mine was available right away and after our email confirmation. The letter does say to wait 7 days.

Check was cashed yesterday! There's a WAC reciept# on the back of the check. When I try to look up the case status using that it says case not found. Should I be worried?

2010-05-14 - RFE according to AVR!!! Passport Office PCC required... called NVC... they said this will be "supervisor review" :( :(

2010-05-21 - SIF!!!@ 1:55PM PST

2010-05-24 - Interview on July 13th, 2010! Thank you god!

2010-06-15 - Medical

2010-06-29 - Submit docs at VFS office.

2010-07-13 - Interview at Mumbai embassy - APPROVED!

My name is Eric and my Fiancee's name is Lina (shes from Denmark). I just thought it would be fun to say hello to you guys because we have a similar timeline as you guys do. We got engaged in Nov of 2009, married Jan 8th, and just sent out or packet yesterday (25th)... Hope things are going well for you two and it will be interesting to see how all this works out!

No, just be patient and wait until you recieve your NOA1, by that time it should work. :)

07/19/2003 - Met here in the US and just clicked

05/2004 through 08/2009 - many trips back and forth by both of us, phone calls, care packages, etc.

02/14/2008 - Engaged (she was here in the US for Valentines Day so I figured make it official :))

11/21/2009 - Married with a few friends and some family in attendence.

CR1 Timeline:

01/12/2010 - I-130 Packet Sent

<interviening stuff deleted as signature is finite in length>

08/30/2010 - Interview completed, visa granted.

08/31/2010 - Visa in hand!

09/07/2010 - Arriving Seattle.

09/17/2010 - Received SSN.

10/01/2010 - Received green card.

Removal of Conditions:

06/06/2012 - Mailed I-751

06/12/2012 - Got back I-751 as "too early"

06/13/2012 - Re-mailed I-751

06/18/2012 - NOA1

07/13/2012 - Biometrics Appointment letter received (scheduled for 08/06/2012)

08/06/2012 - Biometrics completed.

Hi everyone, me and my husband are sending in our papers tomorrow!

Good luck to all and let´s hope we are a lucky bunch and can reunite with oue loved ones soon!

What do people think about the time process? I have seen a lot of people getting their papers after 4-5 months?!?

If it only took 4-5 months I think they did the DCF. Otherwise it already takes about 3 months till you get the NOA2

08/2006 met in GA, U.S.

05/2007 Antje had to go back to Germany

10/2009 got engaged in TN

12/31/2009 got married

1/9/2010 I-130 delivered

Got my NOA1 in the mail today... It turns out that the actual receipt# is the one stamped on the back of the check plus 1.

Anyone else notice that? Has every1 had the same situation? or different? Just curious :)

husband sent our papers at the end of december and i just came back from visitin him in the US! the officer didnt ask 1 question, not even were i was going or anything!

January 13th 2006: Started dating in Los Angeles!

May 23rd 2009: Engaged in Iceland!

October 31st 2009: Married in Quebec!

December 30th 2009: I-130 sent

January 11th 2010: NOA1

March 09th 2010: NOA2

August 8th 2010: Done at NVC

January 14th 2011: INTERVIEW IN MONTREAL!!
