I filed this month too! Just got my I-130 NOA1 today :)

After reading through the mass ammounts of info on this site, I think just filing the i-130 (along with the other stuff required for the i-130) puts me in the right thread.

USCIS

12-26-2009 : Marriage

1-07-2010 : Filed I-130

1-08-2010 : Package Recieved

1-12-2010 : NOA1

3-12-2010 : NOA2

Your I-130 was approved in 59 days from your NOA1 date.

NVC

3-19-2010 : NVC Recieved. Case # Assigned

3-22-2010 : E-Mails Given to NVC Operator

3-25-2010 : Received DS-3032 and AOS Bill

3-25-2010 : Applied for EP/DS-3032 e-mailed

3-25-2010 : Pay AOS Bill Online

4-04-2010 : E-mailed I-864

4-08-2010 : EP Accepted/Paid IV Bill

4-12-2010 : E-mailed DS-230

4-16-2010 : All documents accepted at NVC

4-22-2010 : Log in Fail!!

March 20 - Mail NOA2 HardCopy

March 20 - NVC Case Number assigned

March 23 - Got NVC Case Number and gave emails

March 25 - Got AOS Bill / DS-3032

March 27 - Emailed DS-3032

March 27 - Paid AOS Bill

March 31 - AOS Bill shows PAID

March 31 - DS-3032 sent by email accepted

April 07 - Paid IV Bill

April 09 - IV Bill shows PAID

April 09 - Sent AOS package via USPS

April 12 - AOS package Delivered and signed by N. Visa Center

January 13th 2006: Started dating in Los Angeles!

May 23rd 2009: Engaged in Iceland!

October 31st 2009: Married in Quebec!

December 30th 2009: I-130 sent

January 11th 2010: NOA1

March 09th 2010: NOA2

August 8th 2010: Done at NVC

January 14th 2011: INTERVIEW IN MONTREAL!!

2010-05-14 - RFE according to AVR!!! Passport Office PCC required... called NVC... they said this will be "supervisor review" :( :(

2010-05-21 - SIF!!!@ 1:55PM PST

2010-05-24 - Interview on July 13th, 2010! Thank you god!

2010-06-15 - Medical

2010-06-29 - Submit docs at VFS office.

2010-07-13 - Interview at Mumbai embassy - APPROVED!

Good luck to you. I'm looking at being back in the USA mid Feb and we're off on our honeymoon. Be sure to bring strong evidence and ties to Canada with you ie mortgage or lease/rental agreement, letter of employment advising of your expected return (dates), return ticket/flight etc. Have fun and post when you get back.

Hey guys,I have a question...I received my NOA1 hardcopy last weekend and wanted to check my case status with the receipt # today,but it says the case does not exist!Am I doing anything wrong like using the wrong number or so?

Hey January filers. I am just about to send out my I-130 today and had one last question.

Does anyone know about question #15 on the I-130. It asks for "Name and address of present employer" Is that My (I am the USC) employer or my wife's employer (Danish Citizen)? Becuase technically it is under the "C. Information about your relative" section but it doesn't say anything about "relative" in the question so I thought it might be for me. Please HELP!

02/14/2008 - Engaged (she was here in the US for Valentines Day so I figured make it official :))

08/30/2010 - Interview completed, visa granted.

08/31/2010 - Visa in hand!

I think you should receive NOA 2 by end of Febrary. They say 5 month, my wife I-130 was received by USCIS on August 12 and we receive NOA 2 on September 17,, she was approved. That was 36 days.

Now we waiting for interview date from NVC.

2010/01/19: I130 received (UPS confirmation)

2010/03/03: I130 package returned. Asking for utility bills.

2010/03/03: I130 sent again at US Embassy Mexico with the utility bills...

2010/03/08: Received a call from the Embassy: I130 ok and sent to CDJ

2010/04/12: Received NOA2 by mail APPROVED on March 5th

2010/03/25: Case number assigned by CDJ.

2010/04/27: I864 and DS230 sent

2010/06/28: Interview... Approved !
