Try again. The majority of people IN Maricopa County repeatedly voted for Arpaio. It's only the minority of grape losers like you that need a political show trial to circumvent the voters' will and the court system which hasn't done him yet.

He was on the force before that megalomaniac was elected sheriff, and if I recall correctly, had no issues with Arpaio in the beginning, nor ever as his boss personally. The duty of an officer is to uphold the law, not anything more and certainly not carrying the political torch of their superiors. But if you are suggesting that one should quit their job whenever they don't agree with their boss' politics, then I have a house in the middle of the ocean I'd like to sell you.

I was referring to my brother. More than likely, he voted for Arpaio for at least his first term. His criticism of Arpaio has to with his self promotion and huge ego. He stopped working as a deputy nearly a decade now. And yes...our political conversations can be pretty animated, but we're still brothers.

This sherrif does more to fight slavery and human exploitation in this country than perhaps anyone. No doubt the businesses and politicians that benefit from the illegal slave trade are angry and wish to eliminate him. Unfortunately he is just a rock in the middle of the river. Until we make legislation to end the economic incentive to use slave labor, they will pour across the border and be abused, underpaid, overworked packed into cattle cars, live in squallor and treated like reptiles by politicians that wish to exploit them for their own gain.

This horrible abuse continues every day and our current adminstration wishes to conscript more slaves by granting amnesty to the existing slaves. This will take those slaves off the market (who will pay them the minimum wage and taxes they will then require?) and recruit millions more to take their place. The exisitng slaves will become public charges dependant on the government, the new slaves will unburden the Mexican government and contribute to Mexico's leading export...humans for slavery. It is every bit as disgusting as what was wrought on African Americans more than 200 years ago and we just will not stop.

so called liberals contribute to this in every way they can, including promoting Spanish language for illegal aliens so that they do not have to learn English and thereby increase their chances of success and INdependence from the government. Liberals just want more dependents and slaves to justify more government programs and conservatives want cheap labor for business. And they will tak about a fence to "keep them out". When will anyone relaize...NO ONE wants to keep them out! They want MORE slaves to serve as our underclass.

I can only hope that all this misplaced anger and convoluted distortion of reality doesn't prevent you from functioning normally outside the very confined structure of a message board.
