My Fiance is stuck in Lebanon.

I have been hearing that they are getting some people to Cyprus and from Cyprus they can file for a temp visa.

Yesterday I called the embassy. American workers answered. First sign that something was wrong. I explained the situtation that my fiance is in lebanon with pending papers and that I was wondering how I get him out. They told me to tell him to go down to the embasy with his paper work and they will take care of things. He goes there this morning and they tell him along with other people that where waiting there that they are only giving services to people with Citizens ships. That there is no one there to give out visas that is closed right now and is going to probably open up next week. I called the embassy then my self and was told the same thing and they added that the last boat left yesterday. I have been crying all night. They gave all this hope and then they crushed it. Why don't they put all these idiots on the same page. Don't I have rights too. This is absolutly ridicolous. The Guy is a danger zone and no one can do anything.

Thanks everyone.

I have been on the phone with the senators office and sending emails everywhere. I am going to be in pain in everyone's neck until something gets done. This whole thing is just so heartbreaking. Everytime some of the interviews or pictures I see on TV pop into head I Just start crying.

What part of Libnan is your habibi from ?

Ali's family and my family are all okay because they are from the north ...

If Ali was still in Lebanon right now YES I too would be freaking out and doing everything I could to get him out. However, in Lebanon it's known that whenever something goes the wrong the visas in the embassy stop. Right now all you can do is pray that that this war will be over soon and things can get back to normal for everyone in Lebanon.

Good luck and stay strong,

Massouna

Reunited and it feels so good ....

he is stayin in Birge al-Bergany (aldahya). Inshallah he will be ok. What is so frustrating is that I was moving down there August 1st. The Time I spent in lebanon, I fell in love with it. and It's also where I fell in love with Mustapha. I thought it would be wonderful spending 6 months to a year there., Cafe; the beach; a beautiful place. It's gone now. It will never be the same again. I will never be the same again.

Thank you all for your prayers. Don't worry about me. I am one tough chick. After all, I am lebanese, nothing can keep us down.

Lebanon has come back from many wars and occupations. It will be the "Paris of the Middle East " Again. God protect the ones there and strengthen there hearts and Imam.
