"Congrats, Happy Birthday, Good Luck, Best Wishes, etc.!" to all that need such...:)

(lol...too many posts for me to go back and read...but have good intentions to you all, nevertheless)

Now here is my off-topic post for today.....

It's funny how one meets people in the oddest places.....

Lol..Ok..so I was at a doctor's office today....

And I end up talking to the doctor......

Who I then find out.......

Is Canadian and going through the immigration process too! And we both come from the same part of Canada!......

What an odd co-incidence, indeed!

So we end up talking about Canadian stuff and immigration stuff for most of the appointment....

Needless to say...I never did get my medical issue resolved today....

I would recommend to them VJ...but....they are the doctor....lol...don't think VJ is the place for them.....

So it's back to the doctor's office soon....lol.....more Canadian chit-chat perhaps....lol.....

What a bizzare day...It feels like the Canadian twilight zone.... :star:

I just have a quick question and I dont really wanna start a topic for it.

Are we able to keep OHIP even though we dont live in Canada anymore? I see that if you're out of the country for so long you can apply for it, but I probably wont reside in Canada again for a very long time. Is there any way I can pay to keep OHIP?

... Or is it even worth keeping OHIP in the first place?

No, you have to be a resident of Ontario to have it.

I went and looked up a coffee image and thought I'd try to beat Carla to the punch, but got wrapped up in my work and forgot.

Enjoy anyhow!

Montreal Interviewer: "What do you have in common with each other?"

Peachey: "We're REALLY weird."

Montreal Interviewer (incredulously to me): "Do you agree with that?"

<I think back to several days before the interview. Driving through the country, passing a field with cows...>

Peachey: "MOOOO! MOOOOO! Does this make me weird?"

Me: "No, well yes. Here, let me roll down the windows so they can hear you better!"

Peachey: "MOOOOO!!!!"

<back to interview>

Me: "Yes, yes I do."

Yes. I have put my two years in here... it's time to move on to something else.

I kind of stopped putting my heart into it, so I know that it's time for me to go.

Donne moi une poptart!

I kind of stopped putting my heart into it, so I know that it's time for me to go.

Reminds me of my ex-roomate.

Every two years on the nose he breaks up with his current g/f.

Says something along the lines of "I know we worked well together, but she's just not perfect so I always knew she couldn't be the one for me."

They always go through a stage of "let's try this again" which fails a month or two afterward too.

Then he gets super depressed (even though, in every case HE broke it off suddenly and without warning - at least from what the poor women have told me).

The first time, I felt bad and tried to help. This year was the third time, I just laughed.

It does suck about the job tho. I'm very lucky with my job for the most part.
