Haha. My wife loves spoilers too. I'm the EXACT opposite. I like to know NOTHING about an episode before I watch it. It's sort of a case of having a pure, unsullied viewing experience or something. My wife is the kind of person to read the last pages of a book before she's even halfway through it. :P

I have a strong dislike for spoilers, previews etc too.... I hate the trailers in the movie theaters because 1 .. you can't get away from it and 2.. they are so long they basically give away the whole movie

All right T-mix! Is is the foreclosure you and your husband were looking at?

Looks like we'll be moving around the same time! Pretty cool! :)

YAY T-mix. I missed your post.

Surgery went well, the mole is all gone, it's just a big black spot now tho cause they used the laser.

The most painful part was when he stuck me with the needle for the Novocaine. I felt the laser a bit, but it wasn't too bad. I have to keep it moist (by putting neosporin on it) and keep a bandaid on it for 2 weeks.

So I have a bunch of stuff to do - for one thing this house has no appliances so we need to buy a fridge, stove, washer and dryer. That alone is a big feat lol - plus I need to call the movers and start getting things hooked up - cable, electricity, gas - but I have done none of this. I have been watching tv online

 Trailmix!

I'm supposed to be looking into applying for some jobs today but I've been watching HGTV for the past 4 hours.

Thankfully our place has new appliances except the washer dryer, so we need to get one of those. But we also have like no furniture. We own a bed, a TV and a love seat... that's it. But shopping for new things for your house can be fun! :) The nice thing about the place having no appliance is that you can get exactly what you want! You aren't stuck with the last homeowners choices. We'll probably wait until the weekend after we close and buy stuff in the city we're moving to, opposed to trying to move everything. Seems to make sense. How far is your move going to be?

This reminds me a lot of when my wife and I bought our house at the end of 2008, it was a foreclosure too. Shopping for everything was actually not too bad, only time in my life I didn't dread shopping. Something about picking out all new appliances, furniture, paint, carpet, tile, etc..., it's just kinda envigorating. Good luck to you all and enjoy it :)

My wife has been back since June 5, 2007. Now we're just livin' man, L I V I N :)

Yes, honestly, i'm glad I get a new stove. I have never had a new stove that I can remember - I am tired of stoves with all these little quirks!!!!

We are moving about 12 whole kms

How far are you moving?

I did call a mover and got a quote, so i'm making progress. We have a mover we have used 3 times before, he charges $90 an hour, but they are really good. I think I will just go with them!

12 kms would be nice! Our move is a little over 70 miles. Thankfully we don't have much to move, so I think we're just going to convoy down in a couple pickup trucks. Worst case scenario we'll just rent a uhaul for a day and do it ourselves. I'm certain we could fit everything in a moderately sized one.

90 bucks an hour? Movers are really that pricey? Dang! But if they do a good job then its worth it. I've heard so many horror stories about movers being careless and really causing problems.

I love how our place has new appliances, but the sellers obviously cheeped out when they were buying them. They are all white, so they match in that regard, but they are all different brands, which I found kinda weird. If I could choose I'd make them all go together a little better.

Well that is a bit odd, that they are all different brands, I suppose they went with the best they could get for their money? I am personally partial to white appliances - but I would consider kind of a brushed nickel finish too.

As for the movers, i'm not sure if they are all that pricey - so I figured I should call around a bit. I figure it will take around 4 hours. These guys are really fast though, they kind of run - I do not know where they get the energy - they are not kids either.

Yeah, I would agree that white appliances are nice, and they match well with the rest of the kitchen. I think they just got the best they could get with their money, you're probably right.

That scary!? I want to see it but I don't. I get really terrified after watching scary movies...
