I need to find out what this Wegman's is!

And as for last names, I took my husband's and when I sign my signature, I notice a definite slow-down when i get to my last name which is significantly shorter and more common than my maiden name.

I like my new name though -- it's a name, I'm still the same LGG I always was...

Wow...I didn't realize that there were actually a few Wegmans on the outskirts of the DC area. Looks like the Woodbridge one is about a twenty minute drive from where we'll be living. Might Will most definitely be worth an occasional trip...

That is awesome! Makes me feel a lot better. I sign my name in very ornate cursive and it looks hilarious when my first name is all La-de-daaa and then my last name is in hard-pressed block letters!!!

Yeah it's totally weird signing my new name.

It's like 5 letters shorter, but I can't seem to make it look nice.

Guess I need to keep practicing.

Exactly!

My two signatures are completely.... and I mean completely..... different from each other. So it doesn't even look like it could possibly be the same person! My first name didn't blend as will with my new second name, so then I spent quite some time trying various options until I came up with the new one. :lol: I'm kind of ####### in that I like things to be perfect and to blend and flow. :blush:

after I re-married..I was changing my licence over...I signed and when.."Damn...I need to remember I divorced THAT one!!!! Can I try again??"

yep.....signed the other name!! craaaaaappp!! after a year I still hesitate a bit...doesn't help that the last two letters of both surname are the same.....they even sound the same!!!

My signature is completely illegible, so if I DID have to change it...I wouldn't have to change it, if you know what I mean!

Almost everyone remarks on my signature. Even the clinician at my medical the other day let out a chuckle when she saw it. It's pretty violent. I used to rip the paper with my pen for the longest time when I was signing...I learned to rein it in a bit though. :P
