Understandable....To avoid the madness and to just wait on things...

Best too, to mail the presents when they least expect it...;)

Marilyn-That's ok...we are all sleepish at times...(lol...darn..I realize I need some sleep too..it's almost midnight)...

Seriously though..If the same price..Go for UPS!!! (or something else, other than USPS)

I remember back (several years ago) when my husband mailed me a package from the USA to Canada using USPS....It got lost....as it got re-directed to purulator (did I spell that right?) which couldn't deliver to my Canadian address, for some weird reason....

Then I had to spend forever trying to track down the darn thing...

Lol..and from then on...we said "It's easier and cheaper just to give it to me in person than to mail it!"...And needless to say, the packages arrived...:)

Hope this helps too. Good luck with your packages.

I just got back from looking at houses.

Oh, how exciting! Hope you find the perfect house!

Speaking of which, Bill and I just got back from looking at houses. We found one we really love and decided we're going to make offer on it!! So exciting and scary all at the same time. Its not a huge place but its very cute and charming and has a lot of nice updates, especially in the kitchen. We looked at over a dozen townhomes because we thought that's what we wanted, but I guess we were wrong.

Oh my goodness! That's super exciting! Good luck, Huggles!

Gosh. So many Canaliens house-hunting. I hope we don't drive up the prices. lol

Guess who found the "other" place where the 'cool kids' hang out!?

Yup...MOI!! :jest: ME!! I DID :jest:

ta da :jest:

and I's bringded cookies!!!

And it only took you two years! :bonk:

Come Dine with Me. It's a super great show that I'm so digging. 5 strangers meet up and take turns cooking meals for one another for a prize. IT's a British show and it's awesome. Watching them try to cook all this fab stuff and having tons of mishaps is totally awesome.

I used to watch the American version of that. I would sit there looking like this :o at some of the things they were doing. I can't believe they thought that was cooking or entertaining! LOL

 if it tastes like licorice...I'm in!!

I recommend it -- it was totally entertaining --I found that i didn't give a bag about what they were cooking but watching them interact was awesome...

But don't take my word for it. I know tons of people who like it.

I watched the American version of that - the food generally was pretty bad and the people were pretty catty! I would like to see the British version

So I just went and watched a clip, it was pretty funny

Awkward.

At the intersection this morning and the car behind me starts honking its horn like mad. So I give them the Jersey salute and Ethan turns to look and says: "Oh that's Mrs. VanFossen!"

AKA his teacher... niiiice.

Donne moi une poptart!

Well that should make for an interesting parent-teacher night...

You should bring a clown horn with you and start honking it. :P
