Hi Everyone,

Lol....I got an RFE for my AOS too....

Then I got two of those "generic letters"...Said that I didn't pay the fees...but I did...

Then I call the mis-information line....They just said folllow the instructions on the letter.....huh?

Then I found out on my own (luckily I kept the paperwork)...

Turns out the first money order I sent had expired..

And nobody told me about this!

Had to make out a new one....

Spent 4 hours at the bank trying to cancel the old money order and having them make out a new one for free....

Grrr....

Sent the new money order in....

The rest is history...

Lol...I also got an online RFE for my N-400 too...

And this was after sending in 95+ pages of evidence...What the heck?

Drove 2hrs or so to the 'local office' to get them to explain what it was for

Turns out it was for biometrics/fingerprints

Said I had to come back again for that later in 2 weeks

I said absolutely not..with the long distance and the baby..and Im there anyways

So I got my fingerprints done earlier instead

Error in my favour..

The rest is history...

See my vj timeline for more info....

But yeah, RFEs are ....Really, do we need to get those?......

Good morning, Carla. Thanks for coffee. It's a bit chilly this morning.

No, it is a low cost though. The neuter is $40, a spay is $60.

Oh wow. That's very kind of you, Kathryn. I hope you don't get a whole herd of them! You'll be broke in no time. lol

Haha. I'm in Fla and whining about the cold. So I'm definitely a wuss. lol

Actually, I take that back. I'm not whining. I was just stating a fact. But I get chilled when it's in the 70's. So I'm still a wuss when it comes to cold.

Good morning everyone! I'm not usually up this early! I took my 5 mo old pup to the vet this morning. It's too quiet in the house without him and I was a big crybaby on the drive home. He's getting neutered, his last vaccination for a while, and getting microchipped. Better to do the chipping while he's

sleeping the needle is very big and we will need to in order to move into military housing.

I had a job assessment on Monday and passed that so they asked me to come in this thursday for an interview!!!! Yay!!! They didn't really give me an option of another day...

Anywhos time to get ready for the interview @ 1!!!

*deep breath*

That's not far! Or do you not have a car?

No, I have a car, it's just that we have a very similar restaurant less than 5 minutes away from us. I'd try that one in Monrovia if we were in the neighborhood, but I doubt I'd drive an hour, or more if there was traffic. We've already found good poutine less than 5 minutes away. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing for me though.

Oh wow. That's nice! I think.

Well, at first it was great. Both Mel and I love poutine. The owners of the restaurant and a majority of the employees are from QC, right down to the accent, and way the snarky attitude they give americans :P The food is great, but the smoked meat isn't nearly as good as I've had in Canada. But i've read how bad poutine is for you, as well as smoked meat. I shouldn't be eating so much sodium and fat filled foods  And the restaurant is strategically located on the way back from the dog park that we take our dogs to on the weekend, so they really make it hard to say no.
