I got mad when we got our RFE's because they were our stupid lawyer's fault :P

Yeah totally, mine was too :P

It was for something stupid too.

I cried when I got the email, cause my heart skipped a beat and I was like OMG APPROVAL.

And it was an RFE. I think I cried mostly of anger toward the lawyer messing up.

I never got an RFE... that surprises me esp after the AOS because we just threw that package together in a few hours. I mean we were literally just throwing stuff around.

I can't... I am just very relaxed when it comes to really important things. It's the small things that get me worked up.

I'm just weird :(

Naw, I am too.

But I'd like to be able to throw things around and not feel like I have to pick them up right away.

I would have cried if we got an RFE. Thankfully, we didn't, even though I was sure we did ... I worried the entire time we were waiting for the NOA2 that one was coming. Silly me for forgetting to include photos of us together ... thank goodness it didn't matter! :)

I'm the same! I was totally expecting an RFE during my AOS. I caught a few little mistakes that they must've overlooked or not cared about (blank boxes on the forms).

I'm a whatever happens, happens kind of person. I like to wing things but I'm very detail oriented... if that makes sense.

I was initially freaked right out when I got the RFE...but it was VERY fortuitous that I happened to be in D.C. with my wife. She was able to redo the forms, scan them and email them to me right away. The RFE only delayed things by two or three days maximum. If we hadn't been doing things via electronic processing though, it surely would have been longer...

I can't believe the level of ignorance regarding immigration process out there! My Dad thinks he can just up and go to the US to work and buy a property. After I told him he can't do that and that he needs proper visa, he refuses to believe me.

Is that a free service, Kathryn?

No, it is a low cost though. The neuter is $40, a spay is $60. He is also getting a rabies shot which is $10. There is no point in giving him any other shots as they all require boosters at 3 weeks and there is no way I'm going to be able to get him to a vet to give the boosters :( - I wish they could do a vaccine that didn't require the boosters. He is the 4th I've had done.

Anyway, he came through everything fine and is now in the garage - although he is NOT in the nice warm box I prepared for him - grrr. It is still cold overnight so I am hoping he will discover the box. He was asleep under the lawn mower earlier - I could hear him snoring, hehehe. Poor little guy - he has eaten though so that is good and hopefully he will find the box where I moved it to where he has been hiding. Tomorrow afternoon it is expected to be warmer and I can let him out then. The first 24 hours he is still somewhat under the influence of the anaesthetic and doesn't need to deal with dangers and predators while still dozy. I'm hoping to get his mother done next time - if I can catch her.

Thanks for that update Spraillenes! I remember you posting about those people a few months back... looks like things aren't as easy as they thought they would be! Its actually nice to know that at least some people with the intent to come and file AOS get called out on it... Although I bet they end up getting approved anyway.

I should have received an RFE for our K-1, I messed up a few things. Same with the AOS paperwork. It was all stupid stuff, but I guess most RFE's are for stupid things to begin with.
