Today while at work someone said: "Might as well have a soda"

So I started singing Kim Mitchell.... annnd everyone looked at me with the most confused looks on their faces.

When I was a kid I loved that video... I used to think it would be cool to find Kim Mitchell just singing in my fridge...

Finally got my 10 year green card!!

It's one of the new ones. The envelope is lined with silver and it says: "To prevent wireless communication with your card please keep it in this sleeve"

So it's like my card is wearing a tin-foil hat.

Damn I should have asked them to get my good side... my picture looks rough. :P

sounds like one of these

keeping your cards in them seems to be a good idea nowadays.

Yay you - hmm, I didn't get a tin-foil hat for my gc :( I want my money back now dammit

Lol..I'll give you mine, if you want...:)

I still have the tin-foil thing...But I don't have the green card anymore...:(

(I had to give it back to them when I got citizenship)

And yes, I want my money back too...For all the  the USCIS had put me through all these years...

And more so for a green card that I waited 10 months for, and had to return back 5 months later! What a waste, indeed!

Ant

P.S. I have a similar-looking tin-foil thing for my enhanced driver's license too...

And yes, those tin-foil things are for the RFID tags.....

Lol..Maybe I should sell my tin-foil thingies here on VJ............(just kidding)...

I received one of those tin foil card sleeves with my NEXUS card, but my fiance' (who is the Canadian) didn't get the tin foil sleeve with his card. Should he have? Any Canadian NEXUS card holders in this thread?

you know what's yummy? Freaking almond milk! Oh my god, the nutty goodness. I, for some reason, don't really drink a lot of milk but I do like soy milk and such in my cereal and to make chocolate milk with. I tried almond milk for the first time and holy man, it's good and it makes some wicked good chocolate milk. I wonder if there are any super good health benefits to it?

It's yummy though.

So yesterday we got our disc for netflix for the wii and I watched 3 movies. :P

One of the movies was called: A state of mind' it's about North Korea and these games they put on called the "mass games" it's just a window looking into N. Korea and it is beyond interesting.

http://www.astateofmind.co.uk/ - If you like that sort of thing watch it.

I know its lower in calories and saturated fat than regular milk, doesnt come with the health risks soy milk does (nor the lingering aftertaste)

It tastes pretty darn good, although I dont taste it to be nutty like you do ;)

HEY... you calling me nutty?

;)

Yeah, I dunno, it's super delicious and what are the health risks associated with soy milk? I think I'm done with it now that I've found almond milk but I'm curious. I'm going to Google it too.
