Removal of Conditions:

GC Expiration: March 11, 2012

Documents sent: December 13, 2011

NOA-1 received: December 15, 2011

Check cashed: Red said yes when asked

Biometrics: January 25, 2012

Letter approving 10-year GC: September 7, 2012

Production of 10-year GC: September 15, 2012

Finally got my 10 year green card!!

It's one of the new ones. The envelope is lined with silver and it says: "To prevent wireless communication with your card please keep it in this sleeve"

So it's like my card is wearing a tin-foil hat. :lol:

Damn I should have asked them to get my good side... my picture looks rough. :P

Probably did cuz I'm sooo special. :lol:

I've always hated those card sleeves that you sometimes get with bank and credit cards. But the cost of replacing a GC is so much more, I think i'd suck it up for that. :lol:

I've always hated those card sleeves that you sometimes get with bank and credit cards. But the cost of replacing a GC is so much more, I think i'd suck it up for that. :lol:

I would think that you would want the card sleeve, not so much to protect the card, but to keep would be identity thieves from stealing your personal data.

It fits nicely behind my drivers licence. Though, I never actually carry my green card. I know, I know... but I am so afraid of losing it. I carry a copy of it.
