I hope everything works out for you, and that you feel totally better from everything soon.

I'm hopefully going on a medical plan at the end of May, I really want to see a doctor about these hives already. They're still around, 7 months with no breaks.

The wisteria came out yesterday along the sides of the roads here - beautiful, cascading curtains of lovely mauve and purple flowers that extend for hundreds of yards in some places along the sides of the road. It is one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen - it always makes me feel so happy :)

On the other side of the coin though, the pollen is terrible! Everything is covered with yellow green dust and as you drive down the road you see clouds of pollen dust swirl around the road the same way snow does in winter. I am not allergic to it, fortunately, but it definitely gets into my eyes and nose and I sneeze and my eyes get gritty.

I love the wisteria! I've never seen so much, and it looks so pretty. Tim likes it too, just not in his yard! So lucky for me, our neighbours have it covering one of their trees, so I can still enjoy it! :) *no fence between our yards either*

Oh yeah! I know what you mean about the pollen!! Wow!! Never quite seen it like this before....

the doctor's appointment went ok I guess.. I spent almost 2 hours waiting in the waiting room but when I finally got called back I only was there for maybe 10 minutes if that... The doctor basically said , " if you have gallstones we remove the gallbladder" ... the way he said it it sounded like there were no other options

so I guess they are going to schedule me for surgery in the next couple of weeks.. :S he said you are in the hospital for about a day and then you need a couple of weeks for recovery....

I don't think my kidney infection is getting better  it still bothers me... I have about 6 or 7 more days of antibiotics left though.. I see my doctor on Friday so I will tell him about it then..

I hope you get scheduled soon for that, and your kidney infection gets better before Friday. If not, then at least hopefully the doctor will have another trick up his sleeve.

I hope everything works out for you, and that you feel totally better from everything soon.

Wow Rhianne. I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you find a solution soon. Did you do a search online to see if there is anything you could use? I've done that a couple of times with things, and it's really helped!

I've tried just about everything people have suggested to me. Some of it's only a temporary fix then I'm back to scratching like crazy.

I'm thinking it's a virus, or a dermatological problem. Guess I'll see at the end of May.

It could be an allergic reaction to something you use everyday but don't realize is causing a problem. Have you started using a different laundry soap or something like that? Just a thought!

Good luck Marilyn! :)

I'd say it might be stress related, but I hope you're not that stressed out for that long

On a similar note, my nephew, about 2 and a 1/2 at the time got hives for a day or two when my niece was born because of the stress of the situation.... hahaha poor little guy.

My first thoughts are stress related too. Then I thought, maybe something after you moved, and you're not used to it, but you said 7 months, so it can't really be that. Hmmmmm Can you remember when you first noticed it? What was going on in your life at that time? As Huggles mentioned, what products were you using? I'm sure you've changed them by now, but you just never know.

I really hope you're able to see a doctor, but I'm sorry it will have to wait till the end of May!

I miss Carla's coffee and her updates. :(

What happened to them? =(

I've been trying, but I can't always make it on.

Montreal Interviewer: "What do you have in common with each other?"

Peachey: "We're REALLY weird."

Montreal Interviewer (incredulously to me): "Do you agree with that?"

<I think back to several days before the interview. Driving through the country, passing a field with cows...>

Peachey: "MOOOO! MOOOOO! Does this make me weird?"

Me: "No, well yes. Here, let me roll down the windows so they can hear you better!"

Peachey: "MOOOOO!!!!"

<back to interview>

Me: "Yes, yes I do."

There is a t.v. in the office space that I have share with another department. They have a t.v. because they deal with public relations. Anywho, they are all at a meeting so I decided to turn the t.v. on and watch a movie while i'm working. The t.v. has cable service which I'm not familar with, so I just randomly selected channel 44. The movie Killer Klowns From Outer Space is on. SOoooooooooooooooooo funny. I haven't seen that movie in years. Gonna be hard to get any work done now.

Yikes, I just got a call from my husband who witnessed a bad traffic accident and he's pretty shaken up.

Apparently there was a Dodge truck driving down the wrong side of the street who obviously wasn't paying attention, and he creamed an old woman in a van coming down the street the right way, head on. Then, the woman got rear ended really hard by a Saturn who was following too closely behind her, which made the situation even worse. Bill got out of his work truck and walked over to the van and he said the woman was, "really really hurt" and he had to call 9-11 for an ambulance. He's not sure if she's going to be ok :S That would be terrible. Poor woman.
