Yeah, that one was strange.

It was from Baja California, Mexico too and we're around 100 miles from the center of it.

It was a 6.9

Got back from celebrating Easter at my PIL's house. It was wonderful! We have food good enough for another week -- she sent me home with HALF a turkey breast :P Really awesome day, played with the kids and ate lots of candies. The only crutch to the day is the future WIL. Man, I dont know what I did to her, but she was a complete b*tch to me. But I took everyone's advice and remained super sweet and friendly to everyone, ignored her, didnt even try to talk to her at all (just to BIL and my nephew). And she got even madder. It was awesome :P I think Im going to do this all the time now! :D

Finally married... and still married... ;)

We didn't celebrate Easter.

I think we were supposed to go to the sister in law's for a picnic, but my mom in law didn't want to go for some reason, so we're here at home.

Oh well, that's okay.

I just want me some chocolate, I love Cadbury mini eggs.

This website amuses me greatly.

http://www.conveythis.com/translation.php

It translates any english phrase you put in and puts it through about 54 languages. It's pretty funny to see what comes out in the end, like this one:

"Hey look a UFO!" ...54 translations later we get: "Frisbee, please?"

 Peachey!

We had a nice dinner at Bill's grandparents today. It's always nice having a good meal that you don't need to cook yourself, that's for sure! To make it better it was a beautiful day out- sun shinning and warm weather.

Glad to hear you southern California folks are ok after the earthquake today! Sure sounded like a lot of fun (or not...)

We went out hiking today, but didn't feel the earthquake though apparently some up here felt it too. I guess people tend to feel them a little more when they're inside, and sometimes it can just be a dizzy feeling? We were out on the rocks and stuff though, so I don't know. I didn't notice anything.

I heard an update that they actually put it as 7.2 now.

My mother in law made us some Easter baskets :) It was really cute. I also got one from the hubby too. Yay Easter! lol

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Morning everyone!

This is the bunny that everyone wishes existed today. The COFFEE bunny.

Montreal Interviewer: "What do you have in common with each other?"

Peachey: "We're REALLY weird."

Montreal Interviewer (incredulously to me): "Do you agree with that?"

<I think back to several days before the interview. Driving through the country, passing a field with cows...>

Peachey: "MOOOO! MOOOOO! Does this make me weird?"

Me: "No, well yes. Here, let me roll down the windows so they can hear you better!"

Peachey: "MOOOOO!!!!"

<back to interview>

Me: "Yes, yes I do."

Any Wes Anderson fans out there?

Have you seen Fantastic Mr. Fox?

Cussing awesome movie! :D

Haven't seen it yet, though we will. It's right near the top of our Netflix queue, though it's still showing Long Wait.

Wes Anderson is hit or miss with me. I enjoyed The Royal Tenenbaums and The Life Aquatic, but HATED The Darjeeling Limited and didn't care much for Rushmore. Still, I'm looking forward to watching The Fantastic Mr. Fox.

Sometimes it seems, you speak a foreign language.

:P

I'm just more of a Kubrick / Lynch / Aronofsky / Nolan fan. I like the darker side of quirk, whereas Anderson likes the lighter side.

I'm having a hard time picking movies to add to my queue... I've never been a big movie watcher, but I'm trying to get into it now. It's really hard staring at a list of movies to really know what you might be interested in when you've never even heard of 3/4 of them! And if I let Bill pick sometimes the results are disastrous. Last night we watched Superbad... The name really says it all.
