So when you coming to Amish Country??

In other news, Varba and I went and looked at some houses yesterday and absolutely fell in love with one. It's 2400 sq feet, 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bath. The only downside is that there are 6 chicken coops behind the house (but also some cute goats!). The house is priced $50,000 below it's market value, and is only about a 10 minute longer drive to Varba's work.

Are you kidding?? Chicken coops and goats in the backyard would totally be a PLUS for me!!

Huggles, the coops are part of the farm located behind the property, which is kinda big plus (except the stink) since we don't have people on our back step. They're big commercial chicken coops and they're building a 7th one.

The goats were so cute. I told Varba we could probably get cheap goat milk and cheese if we wanted. Our real estate agent also told us (jokingly) that we could just dump our garbage back there and the goats will eat it.

One of the houses we saw yesterday. You looked out the back window to your neighbors I guess they would call it "front yard" and drive way. Varba and I would never be able to walk around naked/in pj's or do the "nasty". The neighbors would see us!"

 Maybe you could just get some high privacy window coverings?

I'm just remembering my aunts farm and the awful smell the chicken coops expelled. They definitely weren't high quality construction and had no ventilation to speak of, and they were also probably less than 30 feet from their house, but when the wind would pick up, dang. It wasn't pleasant! I think commercial buildings would probably make a big difference.

So here's my latest update.. similar to Sam's from last week! lol We got a new cat! he's about 1-2 yrs old according to the shelter... really friendly and affectionate, loves playing with toys, loves being brushed and cuddled, and he's just really awesome!!

But he needs a name. We've been floating around a few ideas, but none seem to stick. Anyone got any suggestions? lol Currently his name is Titus, but yeah neither of us really like it. Other possibilities that seem 'favourites' so far are Finnegan and Hurley....

Here are some pics for inspiration. lol :luv:

Oh god, that cat is so cute!

He sort of looks like the one we have right now.

You know how we named our pets?

Open an atlus and look at stuff. We got our dog Cooper's name from Cooper Falls somewhere in the US

I'm gonna go ahead and second Sir Fluffy Buns. He looks like a Sir and also has Fluffy Buns, so you see, it matches!

But then again, I named my cat Kitty Poo so I'm probably not the right person to answer. lol

LOL I'm gonna have to go ahead and veto Sir Fluffy Buns. hahah We have another cat (who's 'adjusting'... lol) and her name is Kitty, but that kinda molded onto her because she eventually would only answer to Kitty, so I decided to just make it official. lol

Maybe we can call him Sir Finnegan.

I could see Sir Finnegan. Or even just Finn.

Look at the kitty.

Now say Finnegan.

Look at the kitty's face.

He LOOKS like a Finnegan.

Forgive me. I've just had a Mountain Dew, lol.

Don't ask me why!

But

the second picture made me think of him as a captain of a ship..lol

So I say captain Fin  heh

Animal lover here, had to stop and say....very cute cat. :D

Between Finnegan and Hurley, I'd say he looks more like a Finnegan.
