so my bosses are the nicest people ever. They have been putting up with all the ####### I have been going though the last few months with our cars being broken down and stolen and now with me being sick ... Well today the mom emailed me saying that I didn't have to come in tomorrow so I could rest up.. I would have been fine.. I made it through yesterday..

I feel bad though because I have already missed 3 days of work these past few weeks and now tomorrow too...

when I did miss work my hubby kept saying that they were going to fire me :P I know they won't, the kids love me :P the 4 year old kept asking his mom if I was feeling better and was wondering when I was coming back and both kids were super excited to see me yesterday......

so I have a weakness for The Real Housewives of Atlanta TV show.. I don't really like any of the other ones.. I did watch most of the Real Housewives of Orange County though but the Atlanta one has me hooked, whenever I see it is on I have to watch it :P

Speaking of guilty pleasures, let me know if you see commercials for a second season of Miami Social. I enjoyed it last summer, but from the sounds of things, I may have been one of the few. Hope it gets renewed... :hehe:

Unfortunately, Sarah Palin is getting a reality show. I don't know if that's a zero sum, or if things actually got worse. I hate reality t.v., but inexplicably love Jersey Shore

 we had that done when we first moved in too. $99 for him to change the filter and tell me it works. Well yes, I know it works, it's been heating the house for several days now.

ADT people are coming here between 1-2 to install my new security system. They wanted our business so bad they're giving us all the equipment and installing it for free, so whatever. I'm still not sure we need it, but the price is right.

Congrats to your husband Marilyn! I love your new signature picture! :luv:

Yes, I hope it's a cheap fix, whatever is wrong with it lol - surprisingly it looks like a new furnace - I would say it can't be more than 5 years old.

Will be interesting to hear your views on having a security system, feeling more secure or just hassled turning it off and on

The one that is installed here is Voxcom, although it isn't monitored now, it does have a time display and shows if a door or window is open :hehe:

So much to catch up on....

Marilyn, congrats on the day shift position for your husband, working shift work takes a toll on your body for sure, he will feel like a brand new man after a week! LoL!

Darkchilde & Joyce, ugh housework.... Hubby is not here for a few mos... Can I sign a waiver? No one else but the dog will see the house...

Wyatt, yay! Congrats! GC should arrive soon!

Huggles, let us know how you like the security system. The first week or two I would probably have the alarm going off accidentally ALOT.

I started my first week of training today for my new job! Today I have off! I am honestly impressed at how well the company trains their employees and how organized everything is. Information is pretty much all electronic, kind of like electronic medical records...everyone who needs to know has access. No more sorting through 2 full paper files to find case notes or a disorganized computer system of "drives"& people who name folders & files incorrectly. All my shadow shifts are scheduled and my regular scheule is set to start first week of April.

Definitely been keeping busy, but still missing the hubster :(. I feel awful for complaining because I think

of the families who go through year long deployments. It's tough no matter what.
