My husband and I have talked for a while about starting our own business too. It's mostly been jokingly though (if you knew the business idea, you'd probably laugh too). However, with our current situation we've been thinking about it more and more and coming up with ideas that might actually work. My problem is I don't like to start small, and we'd probably have to start small. lol I get discouraged too easily, so if we're not raking in the dough in the first year, I'd probably quit. LOL Bad attitude about it, I know.

Yea it is especially since the first 3-5 years of business ownership is rarely profitable. You're putting, or should be putting most of your money back into it.

Yeah I know. I just don't have the patience for that I guess, nor the money (though we'd obviously get a loan anyway, but still). I rarely look into the future farther than one year. I hate the 'where do you see yourself in 5 years'. Cause I don't. Period.

so it is official.. the hubster got day shift!!

someone from HR called him this morning to ask if he wanted to accept the position and he said, "yes, of course!" ..lol

it still might be a few weeks before he starts though..

in other news I finally got an appointment with another surgeon but the soonest he can see me is April 6th.. the lady did ask me if I was in pain and I told the truth that I wasn't in pain.. I don't feel great but I am not in pain...

I've always wanted to own a restaurant. Just a little cafe actually, for breakfast and lunch, and afternoon coffee. Sandwiches; soups, salads, desserts...that sort of thing. Like a 6:00 am to 4:00 pm....*dreams* probably won't ever happen I know....But those type back in my hometown did very good!

So....I'm doing something I haven't done in YEARS and that's going to a suntanning booths... We're going to Florida for a few days next month and I wanted a little more "colour" so I wouldn't look..so..so...*cough, cough*...non tanned...

Today was my second time there...and I think I got a reaction to those lights!!! I'm pinkish...and itchy... Guess tomorrows session will be a shorter time limit!

this shift will mean a slight drop in his pay check but like the HR lady told him, his quality of life will be better.. I think that is worth it.. and once I get all my ####### dealt with I am going to see about getting another part time job...

so I have a weakness for The Real Housewives of Atlanta TV show.. I don't really like any of the other ones.. I did watch most of the Real Housewives of Orange County though but the Atlanta one has me hooked, whenever I see it is on I have to watch it

Totally strange. So one my sons music teacher and I pretty much have identical music tastes. We have been going through Ethan saying: "Well tell him to listen to this" and he's been sending me bands to listen to. So today he finally tells me that he's going to get tickets to the band that started it all for us: Passion Pit, and he wants to go with me. Is that not weird? My son's teacher... I feel odd but whatever.

Don't worry he's very very gay.

I am just letting you know because I just told my mom the story and she was like: "NEVADA, OH MY GOD HE'S HITTING ON YOU!"
