so yesterday I looked up the name of the surgeon my doctor referred to me, to make sure he was in network and he was so I called and made an appointment. well today I did a search for the surgeon again because I needed the address and today it shows that he is out of network :unsure:

I guess I have to call on Monday to see what is going on ...

I got burnt by the dentist last fall! I called them up and asked if they accepted my dental plan! They stated we surely do! Great! Only to find out later that they did accept it, BUT they were not within the network, DUH!! Luckily I just had a screening and didn't have any of the required work done! Was pretty expensive!! Like 4 times what my wife pays at her dentist, that is within the network!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Her foster had named her Sequin... but we didn't like that. I allowed Ben to pick whatever name he wanted for her, since I somewhat sprung the idea of bringing the cat home on him...

He picked Alora.

Don't get me wrong.. the name is interesting.. but she's too much of a cutie and too much of a crackhead for that name! Heh, but alas, Alora it is.

She only really responds to 'Kitty', so she's being called that a lot.

I'm real happy... honestly, as much work as she is, I think I needed this. I think my MIL saw that too, because she kinda coaxed me into it. This cutie just makes me so unbelievably happy... and I've never had my own kitten before. I've always had cats around, but never one to lay claim to.

We took a long cat nap this afternoon to make up for our wild night last night. Hoping she actually sleeps through tonight.
