Your joy makes me squishy!

Oh and riding on the coattails of that? Me and husband had a great dinner and he took the day off tomorrow and we aer going to totally hang out.

I too am enjoying myself and feeling very comfy, content and excited about what's to come..

(((((Wyatt))))))

I just gotta say...

I'm SO ridiculously happy to be here right now! Man...I haven't been this happy / contented in a VERY long time! I just went out and had a cigar on the balcony...enjoyed the Virginia sunshine and 70+ degree weather...looked out over the lovely Holmes Run Parkway and just felt this sense of serenity! I mean, I've still got a lot of stuff to take care of, and there are financial and logistical stresses to deal with...but I'm totally having a zen moment right now. Almost blissful! Just had to share! :D

Thanks for the job search feedback everyone! I sent out a couple e-mails regarding some job postings on Craigslist today, so we'll see who decides to respond. I have to admit that this is the first week that I've really been actively looking for work, so I guess I can't be too frustrated yet!

In other news, we're bracing for a snow storm here in CO. It was 65 degrees today and we're suposed to get 5+ inches of snow tomorrow. The weather patterns here are so strange!

so the hubby didn't talk to the day supervisor today but he did talk to this other guy.. I think he is the warehouse manger.. the guy basically told him that he got the day shift but he can't officially tell him that because that is the day supervisor's job.. the guy also said that my hubby couldn't go to day's until his spot is filled on his current shift... the part that makes me mad about that is that they have had a few weeks to fill that position, now we probably have to wait a few more weeks before he moves to day shift but at least it is looking good that he got it :)

Good morning folks! Flames, I hope your father's procedure is successful and that he heals quickly. Safe travels to you.

Looking at another glorious day here in Saint Louis. Lousy weather this weekend predicted though. Back to the rain. I'm just going to focus on today though. After swimming this morning, an early lunch with Gene on a sunny patio!

Gene's Dr. said his ears aren't infected, however there may be some damage due to his previous cold/infection and the stmospheric pressure during an aerial tram and the flight. If things don't clear up with a decongestant by Monday, he's to see an EN&T Dr. on Tuesday. His GP says Gene may have to have tubes in his ears.

Again...I'm only going to focus on today...

Have a great weekend everyone!

Soooo....I leave for Canada tomorrow.

Everyone wish me luck. I still feel like I'm constantly fighting the urge to throw up.

Oh, and everyone needs to google Chase No Face. I saw this kitty for the first time last night through his blog and I just want to love him to pieces. Makes me appreciate my Kitty Poo with a Face, even if she is a little bitchy.

Hope things do clear up for Gene with the decongestant. Although having tubes in isn't a huge deal, it certainly isn't fun in the least, so hopefully that doesn't become necessary. I myself had five sets put in as a child.

Enjoy your sun so it lasts through your weekend! :)

And Kayla, good luck to you and your fiance. I'm sure everything will go smoothly, and we can't wait to hear the result. Safe trip there and back! (F)

Well Dorito bags aren't that expensive... ;)

Mmmmm have you tried the new Spicy Doritos? I bet those would make a good apartment.

Speaking of doritos, how about that status update feature that people have now. I just love looking at the main page where people put there status. Quite entertaining all the mispellings, horrible grammar, attempted jokes and my favorite is n00bs trying to post a question in their status. Glad to see that technology seems to be dumbing things down.

I couldn't figure out why on earth you would be fighting the urge to throw up until I looked at your signature! Best of luck to you and Matthew. I know you've probably heard it 100 times before, but the interview is super straight forward and easy.

It snowed a little teeny bit here overnight - what's up with that? We have been having pretty nice spring weather, early for us of course :)

Pssssh, T-mix :P I have about 3 inches on the ground right now, 25 mph winds, and another 4+ on the way, then snow tomorrow and snow AGAIN on Wednesday. It has been warm and sunny all week and then we get this. Colorado is so weird.

It was 64F here in Omaha yesterday! It started rain/snow today and the high will only be 38F! Brrrr..Doesn't SPRING start this weekend? LOL
