I agree with you there Trailmix! I've been experiencing the same stuff with our place. The last homeowner attempted to update everything, which is great, but some of the changes they made have me really wondering what they were trying to do! Like the kitchen has new kitchen cabinets, but none of the cabinets on the bottom have shelves in them. So, I can only put stuff on the bottom, meaning the storage space for my pots and pans is extremely limited. They also didn't bother finishing the edges, so you have nicely finished cabinet doors and faces, and then the sides are just like your standard sheet of rough wood. Then, they put hardware on half of the doors and left the other half without... And the grout in the tiles is starting to come up, like they had no idea how to mix it and apply it so they just made it up as they went along. Easy fixes but really, it just makes you laugh. But I must say that lavender walls with purple trim is the best!

I hope Matthew feels better soon Kayla! :)

My wisdom teeth experience was pretty bad. I let them grow in way to far, and it took them an hour to remove all 4 surgically. I was under for an hour and a half, came too, and then had an allergic reaction to the stuff they used to put me under, and then I ripped my stitches... Ugh. That was a rough experience!

Glad you're feeling better Marilyn :)

Hmmm ... lavender with a purple trim... lovely! But at least it's yours, right? :)

I thought my wisdom teeth experience was rough because I got 3 taken out and they were impacted, but you have me beat! ugh.

Although I had to eat with a bib for 3 weeks because I couldnt open my mouth much and kept spilling food on myself! I felt like a winner ;)

My first 2 wisdom teeth came out very easy, that was back in 1992. had the 2 remaining taken out in 2003 in Greenwood NS and man did that hurt!! Originally they were going to send me to a specialist, but the dentist thought he could do it,lol He managed to pull it off, but man was my mouth sore! The funny thing was that my wife took time off from work and came up from DC to "look after me" But she got very sick with flu-like symptoms, so I ended up looking after her,lol

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

He hasn't had ANY swelling and he's actually feeling a ton better today. I'm convinced he may have went to probably the best dentist in the world. They told him his left side might hurt worse than the right because they hadn't come through the gums yet, but he's not hurt hardly at all, and he's been able to eat without much problems. I have this really bad anxiety about him being sick or hurt when I'm not there because I have this NEED to baby him when he's not feeling good. It drove me crazy to think he'd be hurting and I wouldn't be there to nurse him back to health. But now I'd probably be like "Pfft! You've got legs! Go get your own drink!" :P

Tim Ho's and I have a sort of relationship going on. I dream about it and when I go visit Mathew Tim Ho's magically finds it's way into my hands! It's like a miracle or something! LOL. There's a couple here in Kentucky, but the closest is a 2 and a half hour drive, but some days it almost seems worth it. Iced cappuccino is like my cocaine.

Good morning all, Hi Liz!

Well, so we have a new layout here. It's .... different. I have a wide screen monitor and the text, in some cases, spans the width of the entire screen. That's pretty unusual for a webpage - to have no break up in the layout like that. It's a bit annoying to look at really.

Oh well, I suppose I will get used to it.

It's okay.

Going to take some getting used to.

I'm also amused by the statuses on the profile pages.
