It's from those heritage commercials... I should have known better.

She didn't know what I was talking aboot!

Haha...I totally remember that one. They'd removed a portion of her cranium and had her under conscious sedation, asking her what she was smelling as they tapped each part of her brain. In truth, it probably went something like this:

"Miss, I want you to tell me each scent you smell when I poke. So this smells like..."

*POKE* "Motor oil!"

*POKE* "Dead skunk!"

*POKE* "My ex-husband's hockey gear!"

*POKE* "Napalm in the morning!"

*POKE* "Victory!"

*POKE* "Team spirit!"

*POKE* "Oh...oh...er...I got this one...let me think...um...overcooked bread...uh...that's called what...um..."

Congratulations on the job J&K! Best of luck after your interview minnew! Trailmix...I think my next fridge will be a freezer on the bottom one. I love them! I do crocheting Peachy, and a little bit of knitting. I think it's like straight and curly hair! If you have one skill, you want the other, and vise versa. If you're going to take up one, I'd say knitting....although you can do most things with both, I think knitting does have more things to make with it.

Thanks for all the welcome backs from yesterday! I didn't think I'd be missed. We had a very relaxing and fun time in and around San Diego. The weather of course was just perfect for us, sunny, and warm. Not hot, not cold. The people were fabulous, and landscape spectacular. We went from whale watching to desert hiking, to mountin tramming. Quite diverse! We're organizing pictures, so I'll post a few in the next few days.

Until then, enjoy your warm cuppa!

did you get to go the little Mexican place I told you about?

Good morning all.

Well today we have a guy coming to look at our new stove, there are 2 gaps at the top that I don't think look right (still love the stove though). My Husband is on his 3 days off, so there is much work to do.

Oh and the realtor wants to drop by for 1 more signature. Actually unless you have supplies and tools, don't drop by right now

We do have walls, bars, razorwire, and guards with guns to keep them in their place. Barring a massive earthquake I think you'll be just fine.

Someone just walked in who looked a lot like Steve Buscemi... I didn't think anyone looked like Steve Buscemi. This is like a taller version.

Still it's a odd place to put the USCIS office.

Maybe it's for ease of throwing the illegals over the fence?

Montreal Interviewer: "What do you have in common with each other?"

Peachey: "We're REALLY weird."

Montreal Interviewer (incredulously to me): "Do you agree with that?"

<I think back to several days before the interview. Driving through the country, passing a field with cows...>

Peachey: "MOOOO! MOOOOO! Does this make me weird?"

Me: "No, well yes. Here, let me roll down the windows so they can hear you better!"

Peachey: "MOOOOO!!!!"

<back to interview>

Me: "Yes, yes I do."

Well, you are in Pennsylvania, people ride horses and carriages there, so who knows what sorts of rationale they use :hehe:

Peachey

Whenever I see ICE or a vehicle from DOS I still freak out a little. I've had my GC for 3 months and my heart still stops for a brief second... And then there is my dearest husband who likes to point and yell "Amanda run! Its ICE!!" like its the funniest thing ever. Not funny. :P

Its actually weird how many of those vehicles I've seen in the Denver area.

I do both. IMO crocheting is a bit easier to learn. You don't have to worry as much about your tension and making a hat is quite easy. I have never crocheted mittens, only knit, and they are a bit tricky.

You should be able to get a basic "How To" book at any craft store. Don't be scared off by knitting though, once you get the hang of it it's a great hobby. Good luck. :)

Hmm, I was at Micheals earlier. The one closest to us doesn't seem to have too many books.

I'll have to take a look again later. I need something to keep me busy that doesnt' cost very much money!
