Im thinking of people in Hawaii, Australia, NZ etc. and possible tsunamis...

Yeah, I sent MrsCat an email this morning when I first heard the news. She said that she was awakened by tsunami alert sirens, so it's good to know that the system is working there. It's supposed to hit Hawaii in an hour or so, I think...

It's supposed to hit Vancouver in less than three hours. Hopefully it doesn't do much damage, if any... The airport here is right on the water in the lowest possible area of land.

The waves are supposed to be 8ft in Hilo. They should only be 2-3ft by the time they hit Vancouver, if they do.

MrsCat, glad you're safe and sound. They were showing live feed on CNN and you could see the water receding and the reef in the area starting to come out of the water.

Good morning all.

So lots of interviews in Montreal this week for IR1/CR1!

Mal, glad to hear your Husband is in Montreal and ready to get that interview over with :thumbs:

So, along with a foreclosed house, well this one anyway, comes a lot of work - as we already knew of course and which is fine, but I tell you, it's tiring. Every single little thing has to be cleaned - and we aren't talking a clorox cloth - every tap has to be dismantled and cleaned from top to bottom, every cupboard. I'm just glad there were no appliances :lol:

We bought a fridge that has the freezer on the bottom and I really like it, I have had one before but that was a few years ago.

That's cool. :thumbs: I've often wondered why freezer-on-the-bottom fridges aren't more common. It would seem to make more sense that things like milk, juice, condiments etc. are at eye level, while frozen things would be below.

If fridges could evolve, I'm sure that survival of the fittest would see the freezer-below fridges win out.
