Oh no! So sorry to hear about Krikit's mom, but glad to hear that she's making progress.

I had been wondering about Krikit lately, as she hadn't been on here. Just thought that they were getting prepared for moving up here (I know she mentioned that they would be coming up this way to look at houses).

So the interview went well.

I'll have to wait to see if I get called, or emailed, or whatever!

Full time with benefits is sure sounding nice though!

My wife just got a promotion today! Wooo hooo! :dancing:

I'm so happy for her! This has been coming for awhile, but it never seemed to be arriving. She was doing much of the work for the new position without actually having the title.

I just wish I could have been there to take her out for a celebratory dinner. :(

Yeah, it looks like my wife will be getting more moolah too, which really flabbergasted her since she works for a non-profit that has had layoffs recently.

Things are looking up for us! So long as I get through my interview next week and the drive to D.C. is uneventful, everything will be coming up roses. :)

When is your anniversary Marilyn? Ours is March 3 :)

So I go for my interview today...I hope it has a better outcome than the last 4 I've had :D

ours is March 6th.. we will be married for 6 years..

Just wanted to mention something about krikit here. (she said this was ok).

Krikit's Mom had a heart attack a couple of weeks ago, it was quite serious. Thankfully she has been making steady progress since then. I just wanted to mention this as i'm sure everyone wants to send krikit and her Mom and family good thoughts :)

So, we got invited to Varba's aunt and uncle's for dinner tonight!!!!!!!!

Not as exciting as a promotion (congrats to all who got one!), but still exciting that I don't have to cook!
