We got the keys today and have been busy doing little home related things. Switching out light fixtures, door handles, painting, things like that. Great fun! I can't wait to move in on Saturday.

Good luck! I hope the weather doesn't tie you up.

Goodluck J&K!! I know what you mean.. I'm feeling a bit discouraged myself.

But..... Just got an phone call for an interview on Monday!! It's overnights but it's full time! I just submitted the app yesterday... Boy that was quick!

I just don't like the interview process... It's getting annoying...if I get this one there is a 2nd interview to go through! Bah!

Yay Huggles and Husband!! Congrats :)

I think it's great that you get a few days to sort everything out and paint etc before you move in :) I know it's tiring but i'm sure you two will have a lot of fun. Don't go too many hours painting/cleaning without a break though because it makes it hard to walk at all the next day

Just wanted to mention something about krikit here. (she said this was ok).

Krikit's Mom had a heart attack a couple of weeks ago, it was quite serious. Thankfully she has been making steady progress since then. I just wanted to mention this as i'm sure everyone wants to send krikit and her Mom and family good thoughts :)

Good morning.

Oh no! :(

That's horrible in so many ways. Horrible first of all that it even happened...and also horrible because of all the upheaval Krikit and her hubby were going through with relocating from Florida to D.C. Hopefully everything is working out okay in all of the related issues. Glad to hear her Mom is making progress.
