I don't know why, but I crack up whenever I think about that... The best part is that Chris is ten times the drummer that Ryan Vikedal is...and is currently heard playing on a hit song on the radio these days too!

Are you scared to give Rick free advertising on VJ? :hehe:

I like nickleback

Ohhh...Chris. Haha. No...Chris is now the drummer for Jaydee Bixby, who currently has a hit country song out called "Old Fashioned Girl".

The funniest part is that Chris is really a metal drummer. No joke! He's been a freelance drummer for about a decade now (we were in a band in 1996 - 1997, as well as in 2001 - 2002), but most of what he's done in his own bands has been hard rock and metal...including both bands that we were in together. I really have no idea how he wound up with a successful young country star...

I'm sure many musicians are (just like many non- musicians are)

Yeah I like a lot of country music. It's pretty much all my parents ever played - so I heard a lot of it.

They are similar in that they are a lot of the time downtrodden tales of their lives and their neighborhoods.

I'm not a fan of nickelback, but at least they aren't as bad as creed. I'd rather get punched in the face by mike tyson than listen to one of their songs.

Here you need an SSN too, I guess I was just thinking that, so long as I hit up the SSA office prior to hitting the DMV, I wouldn't need to have the physical card in hand. The number's the same regardless.

Ah well, just adds on another two weeks to the process of changing things over, I guess.

Except for the problem that you don't find out your number until you actually get your card.

When I went to the DMV they needed to see the actual card too.

I never thought about it like that.... Very true!

I'd much rather hear about "life in a small town" than... Hearing about getting "shot up" or any references to gang life.

Because that is experiences and you can probably relate better. I'd rather hear about "gang life" than about some guys drunk wife cheating on him with his step father or whatever :P I do like some country music, but nothing contemporary.

They counter offered our offer but are willing to negotiate. We could for sure afford the asking price as it was within our budget, and we'd be paying less than we right now for rent with our down payment. So we're going to try to go a little less and ask for a one year home warranty too.

This is becoming more real. I am so scared/excited.
