Poor Varba! Its actually kinda funny picturing him in a ski mask to be perfectly honest...

To be completely random, Bill and I took his sister to an Avalanche game on Monday for her birthday and it was basically awesome. We had third row seats across from the Avs bench by the penalty box. I have been to a million hockey games but that was the coolest experience by far! I kept having interesting exchanges with Wolski  he kept looking over at us just before face offs, which I found far more amusing than It should have been. Then in the third he shot the puck really hard at the glass in front of me and I screamed and jumped (it was pretty startling!) and then he looked at me and started laughing. Then Stasny started laughing too. Totally hilarious and fun! Bring that close to the action was awesome.

Just thought I'd share :P

Lol Yep I'm jealous of your experiences being able to go to their games :) I've got stupid Detroit as my only option and I can't stand going to the city let alone the dump they play in hahaha.

My wife has been back since June 5, 2007. Now we're just livin' man, L I V I N :)

Yeah, I've been to Detroit a couple times and its not exactly on my list of favorite places to be. Never been to to the arena... but it doesn't sound like I'm missing out on much. Red Wings Suck! :P

Its still snowing... and snowing... :P

My in-laws' neighbor Mr. Brown has gone over the long shared driveway with his snow blower 4x today. I think hes sooo bored out of his mind that he'd rather be out in the cold with a "purpose" than at home on the couch :P

I dont blame him... Ive checked my email at least twenty times in the last hour... :/

Finally married... and still married... ;)

Haha The Avalanche have a better winning percentage against the Wings in the playoffs than vice versa :)

Let's not also paint the Wings out to be the best franchise ever, in the 80s they were known as the 'Dead Wings' and drew fewer crowds than the Grand Rapids Griffins :)

That's only 1980-1984, and then the greatest hockey player of all time took his first shift..... Bob Probert.

I actually used to like the Avalanche, that is until two things happened. First, they moved from QC to Colorodo, and then, what made me go from being a little upset, to outright hostile and chucking any shirts or hats was the signing of Patrick Roy.

*Whew* what a day!! Tim's sister and brother in law's house caught fire this morning. It was in the attic, over the living room, and by the chimney. My brother in law said as soon as he saw all that smoke, he called 911. Good thing, as the house can be fixed, it will take a while. I'm just glad they're ok, and it happened when they were awake, and not asleep.

Mm, we just bought some Martini & Rossi Asti Sparkling Wine.

I had it at my wedding and it's so good.

It was on sale from 16.99 to 8.99.

I think we'll even drink it from our wedding toasting flutes on Valentines day.
