I've read somewhere that you can't really house train a dog. If they really have to go and they have no way to do their deed outside, they'll leave you gift on your carpet.

Whereas I've known people who've had their cats use the bathroom toilet.

I vote for cats.

I had a dear little kitty for 18 years. He weighed in at 18 pounds most of his life. He was very cuddly and would come right to me when called. He could tell me when he wanted to go outside and never, ever, damaged any furniture.

Actually, he had a remarkable vocabulary, and would 'speak' to get what he wanted quite easily. :luv:

He was not declawed but was neutered.

He was a real charmer when it came to the girls too. :lol:
