Question about I-864 "Co-sponsor" and "Household member"

Hi. Just a quick question.

To be sure: When the Sponsor cannot meet the income requirements, he obviously needs a co-sponsor. However, if the co-sponsor is a family member living under the same roof as the sponsor, then that co-sponsor is actually called a "household member" right?

And, the "household-member" fills out I-864A, right? And, is there any need for the Household member to also fill out another I-864? Or just co-sponsors (non-household members) would fill out an additional I-864 if the sponsor cannot meet the income requirements?

Let me know if I'm wrong on this.

From page 2 of the I-864 instructions:

You may use the income of your spouse and/or any other relatives living in your residence if they are willing to be jointly responsible with you for the intending immigrant(s) you are sponsoring. If you have any unrelated dependents listed on your income tax return you may include their income regardless of where they reside.

The income of such household members and dependents can be used to help you meet the income requirements if they complete and sign Form I-864A, Contract Between Sponsor and Household Member, and if they are at least 18 years of age when they sign the form.
