Hey!

I thought I'd start a thread for all you January 2010 filers for I-129F, me and my fiance are sending out the papers this week as soon as our attorney/notary get the documents ready.

Feel free to post your timeline and how it goes for all of you, lets hope we all get our visas before summer 2010!

I had started one a few days ago... there's only a few of us... There had been one for CSC so I started the VSC.

Our petition was received at VSC on JAN 7th. I sent a traceable money order, but so far it hasn't been cashed. Does anyone know how long it usually takes for something from them or the 1st NOA? Thanks.

My personal Check was cashed at CSC the next day after they recieved the mailing. I'm waiting for NOA1 right now which should be on the way. I just realized yours is at VSC. Hope all yours is processed very quickly.

1/19/10 - NOA1

2/18/10 - moved and changed address on USCIS site

2/19/10 - touched

3/10/10 - touched

3/10/10 - NOA2, hardcopy recieved 3/12

3/16/10 - Left NVC, recieved MNL case #

3/22/10 - USEM recieved

4/19/10 - Passed Medical

4/28/10 - Interview - Approved

4/30/10 - Picked up Visa and completed CFO

5/5/10 - POE - Honolulu, Hawaii

5/6/10 - married in Hawaii

7/8/10 - received SSN Card

7/16/10 - reported US marriage for RP records

10/18/10 - AOS delivered in Chicago

11/04/10 - Biometrics Letter Received

Thanks for the reply. I checked the status of the money order this afternoon and they told me it had been presented to be cashed but probably wont go through until tomorrow.

Hey everyone. Definitely have to say how thankful I am for this place, it's made the entire process a lot easier. I sent the packet out today, but I just realized now that in the rush of it all I forgot to put ATTN: I-129F on the envelope because I was running out of space and wasn't even thinking properly. I sent it to the Vermont Service Center with overnight delivery and return receipt just to be sure. (Paranoid much?) I hope this doesn't effect the process at all and now I'm all nervous again. Figures. Best of luck to us January filers!

Before Journey:

Met online in 2002 as friends. Fell in love in 2005. Got engaged in 2010.

K-1 Journey, January 2010-July 2010:

NOA1: January 29. RFE: April 21. NOA2: June 4. Interview: July 15. Visa in hand: July 20. POE: July 22.

July 24, 2010: Married in front of 150 of our loved ones on a beautiful, sunny day. Living happily ever after and oh so thankful that 5 years of a long distance relationship and 7 months of a visa process is condensed into one line.

Adjustment of Status Journey, January 2011-March 2011:

January 25: NOA1 for AOS and EAD. Feb 5: Bio appointment received. Feb 7: RFE. Feb 11: Sent RFE response. Feb 23: AOS transfered to CSC. Feb 25: Biometrics. March 11: EAD approved! March 19: Received EAD. March 21: AOS approved! March 25: GC in hand!

And we'll live happily ever after.. for the next 2 years, anyway.

I sent mine to CSC yesterday USPS priority mail. Confirmation shows they received it this morning! Waiting for NOA1....and the praying for a speedy NOA2.
