Hey,

I am a US Citizen. Currently my wife working and living in Pakistan. She has tourist visa valid till 2015 and has visit US before.

Her I-130 and K-3 visa application are in process/pending. And i heard it will going to take about 8 months for K-3 application to get processed. She wants to visit US for a month on her tourist visa.

Can she able to visit US while her K-3 application is in pending? She wil just going to stay here about a month.

Please response.

Thanks!

Probably, as long as when the CBP officer asks the purpose of her visit, she answers truthfully but generically, as in, "Holiday" and when ask with where she will stay, she answers truthfully without indicating, "with my husband" etc.

FYI, this is the most FAQ.

So we shouldn't use words like "with my husband"...just go simply and say..."here on a holiday and will stay with family?"

That would potentially prompt a follow-up question as to the relationship. If she has other family, probably not an issue. More generic than family would be "people I know".
