I don't know if Orlando does do same day ceremonies, however the time of the interview will tell you if that is even a possible option. If your interview is in the early morning and they do the same day ceremonies you may have the same day oath. If you interview is late morning or afternoon then even if they do the same day ceremony they won't be able to process the paperwork in time for you to attend. The interviews tend to be really quick - mine was just over ten minutes. I hope that helps a little. Good luck.

Your right, i need to update my timeline. Will try to do that this weekend. I applied for citizenship on September 21 (sent the packet on the 19th of sept). They kind of took long before calling me for fingerprints but i finally got one the 10th of december (walk-in). Actual date was on Dec 18th. And interview is on the 25th Jan.

I asked them why my biometrics took so long and they said they were waiting for the police report to get back etc etc.

Jamessarah-By the way, if you are a September 2009 N-400 applicant, you might want to add your timeline and information to the following list too...

N-400 September 2009 Applicants list..

You will see others in the same/similar timeline as yours and know more what to expect there.....

And yes, it is helpful to :time: too!

Good luck with the rest of your journey as well.

Good to know. I hope my husband will apply in October, so if his timeline were to follow yours....he could have his interview by 2/11. Nice!
