i did. i used my mom and i know that what is important is my current job and I do have a full time job.

They told him that it is not allowed to have a co-sponsor and that 1fiance equals 1 sponsor only.

should i just go ahead and call my congress

I think they might be wanting you to get a co-sponsor and the co-sponsor's documentation. The minimum income level in your case is approx. 18,500.00. I do not know your age, work history, or other facts that the interviewer may have took into consideration. If your annual income is 22,000.00, you are close to being borderline for qualifying income. I am only thinking this because of your sentence of " they are wanting ADDITIONAL affidavit of support and supporting documents " Good Luck!!!! :)

i have already added my mom as a cosponsor and every information they needed were there.

they told him that i need to send in another affidavit of support and supporting documets. I am still waiting for the scanned blue and white slip given to him. I know it's not that bad it's just that I'm really concerned about the affidavit of support

and they told him that i can't use a co-sponsor and that one fiance equals one affidavit of support-thats exactly what they told him.

Oft times in the Philippines, a co-sponsor for a K-1 is not accepted. In this case, they'd want just your income. Someone earlier mentioned you make $18,500.00 per year? That wouldn't be sufficient. Instead of a co-sponsor, you may have to look at getting a part-time job to supplement your current income.

All they are saying is that they want proof you still have a job. Get a few more pay stubs, or additional pay stubs showing you are still working and still making the same income. The poverty guidelines are here:

Just gather your information and re-submit it before you start calling your Congressman. I don't think it's necessary at this point.

$11.00 an hour is just under $23k a year. The requirement for a 2 person household is $18k and some change a year. :)

i understand but with I sent about 6 pay stubs and the letter from my employer together with the affidavit of support for him to bring to the interview and they reviewed and said not enough income:

heres the deal:

I have only been workin at frys 6 months now. I make 11 an hour and am full time. on the employment letter they don't say "annual salay" but instead "year-to-date" salary which comes out to about7-8grand.

We get paid weekly so- my weekly pay is about 300 plus. but in a month itself without having the deductions removed - in an annual month I make = $1650, in an annual month = so an annual income per year i would make = $19800. = this is making 37.50 hours per week.

i don't know what to do... getting a lawyer today to evaluate and help me out - don't want this to turn to just a blue.
