Oh man that is freaky. I have seen this before its almost mesmerizing.

Jane Seymour from Dr Quinn has the same thing

I can't remember if there was a half and half option on the form there was probably the "OTHER" to choose from. Man I was in there and out so fast I hardly remembered to write my name. I got this thing lately, I feel like I have to rush all the time. Usually I take my time with things. I think its James actually, he rushes everything. He must be starting to rub off on me

VJ has this: http://www.visajourn...ontent/examples with example forms.

They don't have cover letters for the AOS process but I amended to suit my circumstances/needs.

I have attached examples but these aren't perfect yet, just for ideas.

Cover Letter _AOS_ for VJ.pdf

Cover Letter _AP_ for VJ.pdf

Cover Letter _EAD_ for VJ.pdf

**Edited to update with current AOS address for K1

Did you send cover letters for all of your applications for AOS, or just one to cover the AOS, AP, and EAD?

I did three separate cover letters. Reason for that is the AOS, EAD and AP are sent to different places but I also used it as a personal list of contents for myself to make sure I sent everything that was required. Completely up to you how you do it though :)

Ok, so with all these applications and supporting evidence, how did you eventually file it all together. Did u hole punch the top and how did you seperate the applications in the package etc?

Can I say what you have done here with the AOS etc is fantastic, I was looking for some ideas, and what you provide is something I am going to use to the letter.

Thanks :)

I personally stapled all pages of separate forms together, then put everything in the order it was listed on the contents list (my cover sheets were made in the order the documents are mentioned ) and then used a bulldog clip (folding clip) to hold each application together, then put them in the envelope like that.

some people have had their files rejected for wrong payment or whatever and when they get it back its completely different to how they had organised it so it pretty much shows that it doesn't matter how you put it together, they'll pull it apart and change it anyway.

Ok so MY conundrum is as follows:

Oddly my USCIS case status has change for EAD from "Card/Document Production" Back to "Post Decision Activity". It has Literally gone backwards. I'm thinking its the usual 1 step forward 2 steps back. Who knows I think its just odd.

I received emails too.

I posted this somewhere else. Thought I'd post it here too.

Anybody have any thoughts?

Yeah that's normal :) Happens to everyone :P You'll probably get another email or two between now and when you get the card.

The first one (production) is actually usually when you're approved,

The second one (post-decision) is usually when they're sending your the approval letter

The third is usually after they've actually posted the card OR can be it arriving at the card printing place

The fourth (if you get one) would be the posting of the card.

Normally it's three but I have heard of 4. Nothing to stress about :)

Hello Vanessa&Tony,

Its been a while that i have got onto VJ and i am glad that this post is still active....

Its been almost a year since i have received my Green Card and i have been thinking of applying to Remove the Conditions on my Greed Card. The rules of USCIS states that i am supposed to apply for Removal of Conditions before 90 days of its expiration date....the expiration date on my Green Card is 05/25/2012....

My question - What else do i need to file apart from I-751

DO i need to wait for the 90 day time frame to file for REmoval of COnditions or can i apply for it earlier

Has anybody here already applied for Removal of COnditions...

Can you please provide suggestions

Thanks

Ravi

Thank you so much Vanessa,i think i should start putting together my paperwork sometime around January of 2012 !!!!

Thanks again and wish all the others the best to get there GC or EAD/AOS at the earliest :)

Thanks

Ravi

I know it's optional, but has anyone on here ever not submitted employment letter or check stubs and AOS approved without RFE and interview?

We ONLY submitted the tax transcripts for all 3 years with the I-864, approved without RFE and interview.

Its 985 + the biometrics fee (85) for a total of $1070. The fee for EAD and AP are waived when filed with AOS.
