Yes everything in one envelope. Yes for a child over 14 the fee is also $1070 and she will need to complete the same documents (with her details) but I believe that you just need a copy of the I-864 (not a new one) because she should be included on it.

Hi!

It is very helpful thread! But, I am a little confused and I hope that somebody could answer on my question.

So, my question is : When you apply for AOS, EAD and AP at the same time, you DO NOT have to pay fees for EAD and AP, only 1070$ for AOS. Is that correct? I read this on the USCIS site, but I want to be sure about this and because of that I appreciate your opinions...

Thank you for your replies and good luck on your journey!

Got a RFE :(

I've pinned it down to 2010 tax transcript required. And/or my medical was 15 months before i applied for AOS so that might be out of date. Damnit!

Hey!

So only 1 copy of g325-a?

And if we get an IRS transcript, then we wont need to send the 1040, w2 copies anymore?

Copies of Birth certificate and marriage cert are okay, doesnt have to be the real one?

Pin this!!!

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Thank you, VJ! smile.png

Correct on all counts. :) 1 copy of the G-325A, and just regular photocopies of your birth cert and marriage cert.

IRS transcripts are MUCH better because then you don't need to worry that you've forgotten part of the tax return (for instance this year we have about 6 attachments.. schedules and other stuff 'cause we bought a house)
