"hello i am a german citizen, and i am currently studying in US on a student visa, i recently am on a 6 month visitor visa to INDIA, i came to INDIA on 21st Dec, 2009, and my family forced me to an engagement with a US citizen who arrived in INDIA on 29th DEC, 2009, a family relative, on the engagement day they made me sign a paper, today the person called me and said that we are married and that within 3 months i will be a US green card holder, what should i do, is it possible to get a green card within 3 months, PLZ HELPPPPP PLZ PLZ"

Wow!! I just finished reading everything. Not even Bollywood writers could come up with such a plot. Anyhow, I live in New Jersey and my tenant is Indian and I am finishing up my PhD studies in NJ and I am an adjunct professor at a College in NJ. If this was true, then there is an easy way out but this seems like the makings of a good movie.

I don't know what to say anymore. May be she is hiding her citizenship for whatever reason. The thing is these forceful marriages do happen. And svckers like me get trying to help the person.

I just hope no one gets in a situation like this ever, but making a mockery out of stories like these is totally out of line. I won't call the OP troll but I hope she better have good reasons for hiding her citizenship status. And if the story is true she gets out of the situation safe and sound.

Are u people trying to get me killed comeon if i gave the full information out there is still 10 good days between my flight to US, what if anyone came to know about t, i didn't post the exact dates either and last night they saw me on my laptop that's why i have gotte up at 4:30 in the morning, everybody is still sleeping. Hope u ppl will understand Why I am doin what i am doing, it's a desperate and very critical situation here.

On post #18 I mentioned that this story had plenty of holes, but then again, it is fun to see people try to help a desperate soul who is more worried about a GC and her studies than the real issue in the story.

Anyway, good luck!

Sorry for being so misleading and i apologise to all but u have to understand in what dire straits i am currently, i can't afford to loose this last link to any kind of information that i can get which maybe the one which saved my life that's why i did what I did, my brothers are using their laptops too what if they came across the exact thing as it has happened, they will raise the alarm so plz understand people

You want advice?An easy way out would be to quietly close your account ....then go floss your brain.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I would say if you are for real, just stick with the plan of talking to the IO officer at the airport. Take refuge in the country you really belong to and start your life over. Keep calm and delete your internet history record from your laptop.

Also it was around 5:30 am in India when you posted first not 4:30 am.

Can anyone tell me how much time will it take for my native embassy, [ i would probably be going to the nearest consulate in new york rather than the embassy in Washington ] to issue me a duplicate passport, and what can I so that my family doesn't come to know about it ? Will my family or parents be questioned if i just state the passport stolen and ask for a duplicate, what is the procedure for that ?
