They said the police cert was from her district and not the city near where she lives.. so we have to get yet a 3rd police cert and it will be fed-ex'd here thurs and we will submit as soon as we get it... the man said everything was ok except for the police cert.

makes no sense.. I would think it would be the other way around.. that they would want a police cert from the local office but that was not the case... only 3.5 hours of waiting to find that out...

I only see a few pinks coming out... many blues and some greens... only around 25 people came with pinks to pickup visas...

Scott,

Did you go to the Justice Center (So Tu Phap) in Hanoi? That's weird that you're having so many problems with just the police cert. If you look at the pics in my profile, maybe you can have someone print a copy of the police cert out and show as an example??

Nevertheless...GOODLUCK!!

Thanks Linda,

The Pkt 3 gave us the following directions:

"Justice Record Check: Issued within the past year by Department of Justice office in your district of

official residence for each visa applicant aged 16 years or older."

So we went to her district which is outside of Hanoi. the CO said he would not accept and required same document from another office. So we did have what the paperwork required, just not what the initial CO required and she failed to explain a difference... no worries, just more time and money...

It took Hang 2-3 weeks to get it. It was very closed to the interview date. She might enlisted someone help to expedite it if I remembered it correctly. If Thuy knows someone to help, it will be faster..

We were asked for more info on the first blue. Binh said she had everything in order, and we went through it countless times. They just seemed like they were not interested in any of our evidence. We had the chat log history and the actual chat logs printed out and in each month by its self. They did not even look at chat logs which I thought was bull. Why do people call and spend money on calling when they already are paying for Internet and they both have cams and mic? I know I would rather see who I was talking to than to just hear a voice. We even went as far as to record a screen shot photo of her desk top when any call was over a hour long with video this way they could see the physical yahoo messenger box with a call time and then you could see both her and my web cam on the screen plus what we were talking about up to that point. They did not look at 1 single piece of paper from those. Binh said she saw a pink paper on his stack, but they asked about my ex wife and when Binh said she was in prison they asked why and when Binh answered his face went white and then he came back with a blue a short time later. But if this was the case, when we turned in the requested evidence I had a print screen of my Ex wife's prison photo and location not to mention what she was convicted of along with all the offenses she has had while in prison to back up what Binh said. So I just think they were planning on handing out a blue from the start, but Binh swears there was a pink sheet at the beginning of the interview.

Jerome

My wife said the same thing before she was ultimately denied and we asked the Mullins group who was working on our case what the pink paper was and they said it's there checklist. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

that was a long time ago, and we are past that, so no big deal, but fyi when Binh said she saw pink, it was not any checklist it was the actual approval letter. She was actually able to see her name and the case number and a few other words, and it was not any type of checklist. Jerome

I saw some people getting blue slip for submitting list of relative, and parental info. These list of relative (sibling?) and parental info (Why they asked for these?) are for petitioner or beneficiary?
