Called Dept of State today (1/26/10) "Still Pending" Im told. Duyen has been to window B, outside the consulate several times now, she said the woman inside told her they were processing AP cases from July 09 and to expect a 3 to 6 month wait. Disappointing if true.

I dont know how many people on VJ are in AP in HCMC, but it would be helpfull if those that are would add themselves to the list so we all can get a more accurate picture of what cases are being processed.

Our case was in AP as of July 7th and we were out in 91 days so I don't know if there's any truth to what Duyen was told.

Hopefully you guy's case is being reviewed and you'll hear word within the next few weeks, if not days.

Goodluck to Nick & Van - Less than 12 hours till your interview.

Please create a new topic detailing your experience when you get a chance after the interview!! :)

Jason & Hien's resubmit date should be 2/17/2010...it's typically 4 weeks from the date of the interview so I've noticed from others (including mine) unless it happens to fall on a holiday then they push it back until the following day (which might be their case with the new year celebration and all...).

For Josh's, the reason might be because of the whole falling on New Year's thing...

You (Scott) lucked out and had the resubmit date after the week of tet...But don't be alarmed if they call and tell you of a different submission date (that's what happened with us but ours fell on July 4th...)

I think all of us on here are guessing and there are no real pattern of how they handle each case. I was in AP after someone and got an answer before they got theirs. Just hang in there, the longer they hold it there the more chance you have. They want to investigate? Let them do it. They want to see more time and watch you guys handle your relationship? Let them see it. Hang in there guys, at least you know yours is still in VN. I just got back from Vietnam. We are doing very good, better than ever.

Some of you known me:

- My 4th trip to vn was wonderful. I got to go with my parents this time. We travelled from Binh Duong to Da Nang and it took literally 26 hours to get there. We didn't stop for HOtel or anything. Just pee along side the road, coffee, and maybe more peeing on the road. I dont have "Benh Tieu Duong" but when I go to vn I have "Benh Tieu Duong" hahaha PEE ALONG SIDE THE ROAD.

- She gets to meet my family in Da Nang (I was born there)

- We went to Dai Nam and stayed at their hotel. (good hotel at good price)

- Went to Long An to visit her side of the family.

- Went to Dam Sen.

- Went to Bac Lieu/Ca Mau to visit FATHER "TRUONG BUU DIEP" to pray.

- lots more things we did and words can't explain it.

NOW THAT'S I'M BACK TO REALITY, gotta sleep and go to work tomorrow.

WISH EVERYONE THE BEST AND ALL THE BEST TO EVERYONE + US.
