What did he do? How did he do that? Common..... I want to know. Anyone know what he did?

Call John as Tuan taked to him on the phone about it...

Mr. John BS with me too much man. I thought he's cool with me but I guess he's too busy. I called him and he told me he would call me back. I guess he's too busy to share.

I'm gonna try to find out more about the process through someone else then.

NO OFFENSE MR. JOHN. It's how I feel.

You have to understand that Kim Hai just got there and this is thier first time together since his visit months ago... I will see if I can call Tuan and get the low down..

Don't mean to be rude to him but you know how I feel right now and if someone promise to help me then I will be waiting for them. I was interested in Tuan's way of doing it that's why I called him. I don't want to bother his time that's why I didn't call him back.

Did he ever call you back? Apparently he's helping other people on this board and telling people to call him right now so he can try to help... it would be messed up if he didn't want to help you for no reason... Good Luck Huong. I hope your wife gets the visa to come to the States.

I feel ya Huong. Just take it a day at a time hopefully things get better for you. It sucks you got the denial man, I truely felt that you are your wife are genuine. IF I was in your situation I would drop everything I had going on in the US and fly to Vietnam Immediately to go plead yourself to the consulate and demand the reason of the denial of your wife's visa. Family comes 1st before all things. But that is just me and how I would feel if I was in your situation.. Good Luck.

He got all his information back, all the evidences they sent, the whole 9 yards, this means it has been sent back to the USA already. If they still had things this means they have not sent it back yet, but in his case they got everything back, not just the denial like Binh and I.

Brother Huong, hang in there man. Think of it like this. They were wrong, you know that, people make mistakes, but you still have options, one option is to refile today, and you also know why they denied you the first time, you can front load all the proof that they said were reasons for denial, you also know that you can now make them take the other evidences. I know that another 7 plus months suck, but if this is the way it has to be it has to be. There is no use crying over split milk, it only makes you feel better why you are crying. Life is not over, you are a;live and so is your wife. In a perfect world, we would only need to make one phone ca;l;l and say " hey I want my wife here" and she would get a visa. But this is not a perfect world, you just have to realize that some people get denied wrongfully, and others get approved when they are being scammed. Some even sponge all the info from other people they can, ask them to write letters to congressmen and other things like this, then they try to offer advice to others saying they are good to go when we all know they got lucky, this is no reason to get mad at them, we know the truth, it is just luck of the draw, no matter who gets approved, they can NOT tell you how to do your case and GUARANTEE you a approval, all cases are DIFFERENT, this is the facts. You, Ly, and me were the unlucky ones this round, cuc happens bro. Hang in there, you do still have options, but for your options to be fully realized you need to try to be calm and as happy as possible. Look forward, not at the past. What you wanted 2 days before the denial you still want today, remain focused on your prize and eventually everything will fall into place. Housing in HCMC in some places is cheap, others is high, but in the countryside it is dirt cheap, with your translation cert, and your English skills, working in Vietnam will be easy for you, and if you are there for over 6 months you can do a direct consular file, and how can they then deny you the visa?? Stay strong bro, your wife, and family are depending on it

Jerome

First of all, drop everything and move to Vietnam was one of my thought. I want to but I don't want to be there and not having a job. I don't know much about Vietnam jobs and stuff so I'm kinna drop the idea of moving there. I'm feeling much much better than couple days ago. I'm going to try to see if I can ask them to give me another chance like Lindal24 said and see if they would grant it. It was a very touchy email so hopefully we could catch that last drop of hope. I'm not putting too much hope on it though so don't worry.

Like Jerome said, all of our evidence are back at our place so we don't know if that means that it's on it way back to the U.S. If that's the case then I would get to do the rebuttal faster than. As of refile for another petition, I want to solve this one first before the same problem protrude. Can you refile while the first petition isn't resolve yet?

Thanks everyone for all of your support at this time. It is very valuable to me as to my family. Phung and I are doing pretty good. I'm going back to see her with my parents on the end of December. We are very happy because the in-laws are finally meet up. This was one of our red-flag. Again, thanks everyone who comfort us on these hardships of our unending journey.

THANK YOU!

Section 221(g) of the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act states that visa applications lacking required documents must be denied until such time as those documents are submitted and found to be sufficient. If, for any reason, the applicant is not eligible for a visa at the time of the interview, the applicant will receive an explanation in writing and a request for the specific documents still required, if any.

Applicants refused under Section 221(g) who are specifically requested to submit more documents may submit the additional information either via registered mail or in person at the Consulate between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays. The applicant should include the blue or green refusal sheet asking for additional information.

____________

You have been given a notice that has the information above on it. You can sit on your hands or you can act. It is your file and your case. If you feel that the CO does not have enough information to make a good decision then you must give them more to work with.

In order for your spouse/fiance to enter they must have an invitation in hand (blue paper). Once inside put the blue paper away. They will need the case number both names and birth dates. Go to the window and submit information/evidence.

My Dao went in and they said they did not need anything. My brave girl told them "My Fred said you have to take it, it is the law". They took it and looked at it. (chat logs)

IF YOU SUBMIT MORE EVIDENCE IT CAN EXTEND THE TIME FOR ADDITIONAL PROCESSING. They need a couple of weeks look over your documents. We have to remember they are federal employees and they need a little more time than most people.

Good luck,

Fred

My Dao will be here soon!

Good luck to all,

Fred

If you can't do what you want to do, do what you can do.

Go to the exterior window if you want to inquire about the status of your case. It worked like a charm for me and a few others...my husband and John's wife actually found out we were approved this way... :)
