Please add yourself if you are currently in Administrative Processing "AP" (2nd blue slip).

The initial blue slip (*IF you don't get pink) at the initial interview date IS NOT the same as an AP Blue Slip you get when you submit additional information as indicated on the 1st blue slip from the initial interview. The date listed is the date the 2nd blue slip is received, not necessarily the date that was listed on the 1st blue slip (in case you submitted your requested documents early)

It actually came up when John and I were OTP the other day and were discussing Tuan's options... He was doing his second filing and I knew John and Jerome were also and John mentioned that there were others in AP that had filed before.. so a light went off... maybe... hmmmm ....

What's going on with John's case or Vi&Art, they are right after me...

Has anyone heard any news they can share?? I'm so ANXIOUS for results at this point...even if it's not mine!!!

I talk with John almost every day and he calls his congressman often and has no real luck yet. They only tell him the case looks good but that they are working on the cases in order.... That is funny since Tuan's case was after a few others here... no word from anyone else on the list... Ly and Huong are both waiting but no word from the CO yet...

Huong...have you guys heard anything about your case? Have you been emailing them? Just wondering...you're still early in the AP phase though so don't worry too much...hopefully the additional processing will result in Pink sooner for you than it has in my case! :P

Naw, nothing from them yet. I just emailed them last week. I'm waiting toward mid week to email them again. Thanks for asking. We're getting more and more nervous. My wife is learning the Catholic Bible right now. yayyyy!

Keep up with the emailing--even if they don't respond! And don't get too nervous...at least your still in the early phases of AP! :P lol...j/k...but really...don't worry, be happy! :)

Your wife is converting from Buddism to Catholicism? How's her family taking it? That's a life changing event...

Actually she's from Tay Ninh so her religion is "Cao Dai" and they're pretty okay with it. If you marry your husband then you follow his religion, they said. My parents in law are pretty cool about it and before getting to know each other to the point of getting marry, I ask my wife if she would convert to my religion after married. She answer yes. hehehe If she said No, I don't think I would go on. hehehehehe

You're quite the lucky one! My husband's ex-gf was Buddist and the reason they broke up was over religion (lucky me). One of his best friends...not so lucky...they'd been dating for 5 years, and just recently broke up because neither would change religions...poor guy was so upset, depressed, and lonely my last trip! I swear I thought he was going to start crying...

I've been thinking about why I'm in AP so I've started thinking about what could have red flagged my case...

Linda & Dung

1. Short engagement after meeting...Met Early December, Engaged Late March, Married Mid May...

2. My parents didnt come back for my wedding - the CO asked about this in the interview...

3. List of SO relatives in US - He had this ready and available - Listed on the blue AP slip...

4. Proof of Bona Fide Relationship - had letters, emails, phone logs, pictures, affidavits - Listed on the AP slip...

5. I live with a guy who's my brother's bestfriend since childhood - the CO questioned me when I visited in Sept 2009

6. I've taken off a total of 4 months in the last 2 years for vacation - the CO asked about my job when I visted in Sept 2009

I think it would help others if anyone in AP could list their "potential" red flags too...

In another post Jerome & Binh listed theirs as:

1. Previous Marriage/Ex-wife in prison for a serious crime - questioned during interview

2. Time line, which Binh did have - listed on the blue AP slip

3. Proof of her relatives in America, this she did not have - listed on the blue AP slip

4. Filed for a visa 2 years before I filed for this petition and I put in a waiver and was deemed eligible to proceed

5. We talked more on Yahoo than on the phone

I have seen enough in this forum to safely say one thing that out of all the red flags you mentioned above, the reddest of all is: RELATIVES IN THE US and second to it is Petitioner is introduced to Beneficiary by uncle, couisn, aunts, friends ... As soon as one of this thing come up during the interview. Count your luck out and expect a blue sheet.

I used to be indecisive. Now I am just not sure ...

They never asked Binh about her relatives in the us the entire time during the interview, they just requested that when they handed the blue out. None of her family even lives in the same state that I live in. I think they just threw that on because they knew we already had the timeline and proof of my ex wife residence.

check out Anh Tien's case. They were introduce by someone and other things were consider redflags but they went through the interview and received pink. I'm jeolous but also very happy for them.

I was introduced by my wifes Aunt and it was never brought up at the interview but did say it in the part of the 129F where it asks us how we met. They did give us a blue for a timeline and a list of relatives. I sent her one and her Uncle made the list of about 10 relatives. (We chose only 10 because it would have been a huge list if we put in them all). She went in about 8 days later and early by about 3 weeks from when the blue slip said to do so to turn in the info and they gave her the pink at that time
