ok, when i join a group i found the option where people can't see which groups i'm a member, but if i type something on the groups discussion it shows on my page that nessa wrote on the blah blah blah at the blah blah blah group. so in the end, people will know what groups i'm affiliated which sucks. Is there any way around it?

It's hidden deep in the FB privacy settings, you have to go through it with a fine-thooth comb to make sure you're private enough...

Once logged in to FB - go to Settings (next to your Username and/or 'Logout'), then next to Privacy, click Manage (should be under sub-category Profile Information.)

I see - Settings>>Application Settings>>Group Settings (Custom - set to something you prefer). That might do the trick.

applications settings dont do it. i just left the group. so whatever. there's only an option of deciding who can see the groups i joined in my profile, but there's not option for them not to read on my page what i do in those groups.

i don't want people where i work knowing about visajourney. this is my secret place.

set up a different account for those apps!!

I went on my profile, underneath the wall post box there's a magnifying glass, click that, then settings. Go to "application settings page"

Under "Show" there should be a couple of options under atleast one of which you should find "Groups"... my privacy setting is set to "Only me"

Gosh.. I'm sure there must be an easier way to find this, but I couldn't....

if you go to my profle you'll see on my wall that i've written in 2 groups today and if you click on info then you can't see which groups i'm affiliated cuz i changed that

like i said, it doesnt work. i went after that i typed in a group wall and it showed on my profile.

i want to join visa journey group but i dont want a couple people to know about it. i dont want them knowing about vj
