MMR Vaccination?

Anyone know how recent my MMR Vaccination has to be? I have a record of mine when I was a child, do I really need another one?

I had a problem with this when I went for my K-1 medical. I was told the MMR vaccination is given twice: once as an infant, and once as a small child in the 1-2 years range. I only had the first series listed on my vaccination card and was required to get a second round. So as long as you have 2 separate entries for an MMR vaccination you're find regardless of when they were given.

I sent an email to dr. seiden's a while ago asking about the vaccines and this is the response I got:

" You DO NOT require Hep B. Written confirmation of all vaccine dates is acceptable OR the anti body blood titres.

You must provide dates of at least 3 TDP in your life with one of them within the past 10 years

Dates of 2 MMR in your life. "

I had to get a second MMR last week as I'd only had the first series when I was a child (my mom wasn't up to date on that, I guess ). I e-mailed the Woking clinic in Vancouver they told me two MMR shots were what they need to see. So, if you've had two, then you are all set!
