Need Help on Details for 129-F "How We Met" Section

Hi Everyone!

I am relatively new to VJ and have been reading for a while but this is my first post. I am in the process of finally sending in the 129-F packet for my fiancee. Given that he is from Morocco (and it seems like they are rough on approvals there) I am looking to make sure I really front-load with proof of relationship and meeting. I met my fiancee online and went to visit him and his family for two weeks this past May. I have all of the pictures and receipts from my visit, but I am trying to figure out what to include in the attachment explaining how we met.

1) How much detail should I provide on the trip itself? Is it acceptable to give a condensed itinerary?..where we went, who we met? When I knew he was my soulmate?

2) One of the things I was unsure of including is the fact that I pushed a bit for our engagement. Long story short, he had just completed a very messy divorce and was a bit unsure at first of remarrying. Would it help or hinder our case to include that detail? I know they often assume that the men from this country are "scamming" there way into marriage for citizenship....so not the case here.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. We are so anxious to be together again, I want to make sure that we are not delayed by lack of evidence or me forgetting to include enough detail.

Thanks!

Jackie

1.) No point in giving a condensed itinerary at this phase. A brief sentence on the I 129f about meeting initially online and then the date/place of your first meeting in person is more than sufficient. I believe I also gave arrival dates of our other meetings at that point, but nothing else beyond that.

2.) Why include information that is not asked for, and/or that paints you in a slightly less than flattering light? When asked, tell them when you were engaged. That's the only thing that is really relevant.

I included in mine the itinerary just as a generalized idea and I had pictures to go along with the cities we visited. I would leave out your second question.

I suggest just keeping it to bare facts that will fit in the box allowed on the petition itself. While front-loading is a good idea, it's really more of a gimick. Don't expect them to actually read your front-loaded evidence. The gimick is that the Consulate is not supposed to readjudicate anything USCIS has already seen. They are to assume USCIS saw the evidence and considered it but there's no guarantee anybody will ever actual read or consider it at all unless there are red flags prompting them to do so.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
