Is it normal not to receive any status update or LUD on my case even i went to the interview and got approved right then, i didnt receive anything in the mail yet but the online status doesn't even reflect our interview or nothing still initial review with LUD for bio, is this normal or should i worry and contact them?

I'd love to answer your question, but most of us don't have an interview and don't know how USCIS update online status or so...

Only way to get that answer is asking filers who had an interview...

Here is the March CSC filer ddx's case...

- Interview 4/14 - Biometrics 4/21 - Card procuction order 5/10

Since you are VSC filer, it may take a little longer than CSC filer to get approval notice e-mail or letter.

I found your visajourney forum while searching the internet. Can you add Bigcountry02 to the January Fliers list, for my wife. So far nothing else, either email or snail mail, i.e. interview or additional information. I am called the 1-800 number this morning for additional information.

We sent the I-751 petition to Vermont Service Center - 22 Jan 10

The package arrived to VSC - 26 Jan 2010

The NOA1 was - 5 Feb 2010

What is the average time between receiving an approval notice and receiving the new permanent resident card?

When I look through the dates on here, it appears the average time between approval (I-797C) and receiving the new permanent resident card is 7-10 days. We filed in Feb, but there is more data points available here in the Jan thread. Our approval notice is dated 05/10/10, and we have not received the card yet. Thanks.

Since USCIS announced redesigned card on 5/12, it looks there is some delay in shipment...

yes... some members have mentioned that they have received the new card.

As I remember, 2 members received the new card...

Both got 1st card production order on 4/30, then got 2nd card production order on 5/10

Okalian received card on 5/22 and kath58 received on 5/25smile.gif

I called this morning and was unable to communicate with a representative. It seems that VSC has gone completely automated regarding telephone calls. I know that site says average wait time is 6 months.

Is the wait time from the day they receive the paperwork or when the biometrics is done?

When should the alarm to ask what is the status is?

Currently, nothing from their site since 1 March 10 and nothing in the mail requesting additional information. The status page from uscis says initial review!

I beleive since NOA1. Just out of curiosity - do you know why your NOA date is 2/5 and not a few days after 1/22? Most probably you are being counted as a February filer and that's why you are not approved yet.

Remember USCIS doesn't care when you sent the package - they go by the receipt date, or the NOA date.

I am very interested to know why it took almost 2 weeks for the NOA to be dated.

The other things that puzzles me is the state of NM sends to VSC.....
