Hello;

Sorry if I'm not posting this in the right location but I'mnot sure where else to post. My wife and I are interested in having our neices and nephews come to visit us in Miami. We were hoping to take them all to Disney World with our son. Our nieces and nephews live in Colombia. What can I do (as the US Citizen) to get them the visa required to come to the US on vacation? It would only be for a couple of weeks at the most. They are all under 10 years old.

Thanks

There is nothing you can do to get visas for your nieces and nephews.

Your nieces and nephews must apply at the US Embassy for visitor visas. They will have to show sufficient ties to Colombia to overcome the presumption of illegal immigration. Having parents and a stable home would help.

All you can do is write a letter inviting them to visit the US and perhaps offer to pay their expenses. The US Embassy can choose to ignore this letter since it cannot accept a third party's (that's you) assurance that a visitor visa applicant will comply with the terms of the visa.

Yes, there is nothing you can do besides writing invitation letters so they can show them during their interview. But they have to do everything themselves, to get their tourist visas.
