Goodmorning and I know cold all to well here in Kansas. This is one of my husbands biggest fears of comming is our cold winters here compared to Egypt.

Andrea saw the news last night and saw how cold it has been in Florida and my gf called me from orlando and said she was freezing. She even had her oven door open..lol

Maureen what a bummer on the delay at school. Its tough enough just getting there early for me as I work 2nd shift. I really don't like mornings.

I can imagine trying to keep the warmth in!! My house does really well with keeping it cool but man it's horrible for holding in heat!!!

The one thing that really sux is you can't find good winter clothes in Florida!!! Everything is paper-thin!!! Hmm I wonder how many hoodies can I put on at one time????

Good morning MENA. Well, it's official - there is absolutely nothing left of the dance studio where I've been teaching dance for the last 7yrs. I was co-founder of this studio and now there is NOTHING left... a pile of burned out rubble. A fire started in the building on Friday morning and it took 30 firetrucks, more than 85 firefighters over 50 hours to finally get it all out. The estimated loss of the center where our studio was is over $10 million. My morning has been spent searching for a temporary space to continue my classes and emailing students & other teachers. :(

 what caused the fire?

it's under investigation Charles, but it's said to have started in a band practice room in the rear of the building. We were next door to an icon of a restaurant & music space and next to that was a very old law book store & publisher. Soooo.... lots of musicians & cigarettes, grease, & old paper & books - not a good combo.
