It may have violated TOS... Not sure. Isn't consumption/posession an illegal activity in most states?

09-02-2005 Applications for AOS, EAD, and AP received by MSC

10-21-2005 AOS fingerprint notice for 12-08-2005

11-07-2005 AP approved

12-05-2005 Infopass appt at San Jose office for interim EAD -- Refused, because it is already approved by MSC on 11-07-2005

12-07-2005 Attempt at interim EAD at San Francisco office -- no go. Back to San Jose, where CSO (chief station officer) tells they will contact MSC via email to request permission to issue interim EAD

12-08-2005 Biometrics for AOS and EAD. Having no EAD appt letter was no problem (used EAD NOA)

12-15-2005 EAD arrived in the mail

12-24-2005 Received interview letter; interview scheduled 03-01-2006

01-28-2006 Received replacement SSN card in married name (5 wks since application)

03-01-2006 AOS interview -- approved; received stamp in the passport

03-13-2006 Green card arrived in the mail

It is, but it's a more serious crime in some states that others (it's a misdemeanor in CA for possession, with only a small fine. It's a fine of only $25 in Ann Arbor, MI, hence the hosting of the annual Hash Bash), however it would appear to have more serious implications for immigration.

I don't know why a thread asking about the legalities of pot in the US, which is legal or decriminalised in some countries violates TOS but a thread asking if you can get away with leaving debt behind is not.

A few ppl complained about me apparently....I think I had too many pissing contests last night!! :lol:

I will try and be more diplomatic in the future.....keep my tongue on a shorter reign, it gets me in trouble at times.... :D

I think the thread was actually deleted because of it's title and admission of the OP....I dunno...oh well...

One of the last replies was from someone who mentioned that Consular officers have in the past read this site and that they wouldn't want the OP's little joke about using pot to be misconstrued and hurt their chances for a visa. The reply also suggested petitioning Capt. Ewok to remove the thread.

So...it may have been at the OP's request, or might have been the Capt./Admin read that and decided to do so for that reason.
