Just go to Walmart and buy the AT&T card.I bought the $30 and it lasted quite a while for me.

Or you can asked your hubby to download SKYPE and purchase credits. Its wayyy cheaper than any other. He needs credit card to purchase.

This is what my husband used to call me when I was still in the Philippines.

If i have to call using a phone, I use rebtel...13.9 cents to a cellphone or 11.9 cents to a landline. No hidden connect fees like in some phonecards. It is a pay as you go plan. I have mine set to auto recharge. It is just a redialer plan..you choose an area code to make you calls to...you can use your cellphone or landline in the US.

Other than that, you can use magicjack or similar VOIP...obviously they have to have one there too for it to be cost effective.
