I am a UKC married to a USC. We were married in the UK and have been married nearly 4 years. I am about to file for AOS but really need a lawyer since I have a conviction for a misdemeanor in the US.

Money is very tight and I am trying to find legal services that are either free or at a reduced rate.

I have been told that some lawyers do pro bono work and that there are charity organizations such as Catholic charities that have immigration departments.

However, I am experiencing difficulty finding any of these resources in the Ohio area. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Try contacting your local Catholic Diocese.. they often have free legal services for immigrants. Also, contact a local law school as well for free Immigration legal clinics.
