The embassy will not allow you to bring in the laptop. You will need to print the pictures. Choose the best ones and take those. Printing is the only way to show them your pictures. You will not be allowed to bring your cell phone either.

Good Luck

You may want to check with your Embassy directly (many can be contacted via email) to confirm. However I doubt it, I don't even think cell phones are allowed in the Embassy. Your best bet to print everything out.....

I don't think electronic devices of any kind are allowed in any US Embasy

But the main point is that the Consulate does not review/consider any electronic or digital media or evidence of the beneficiary during the visa interview, so Pffft.

ps, the USC is allowed to have a cellphone on his person inside the embassy. Membership has itz privileges.

At least for the Consulate in Frankfurt, Germany that is definitely wrong. Nobody is allowed to take electronic devices inside,

doesn't matter if you are a US-Citizen or not.

No one could take electronic devices into the Montreal consulate either, not even the little keychain that autolocks the car.

Nice guess, but wrong.

Only the visa "applicant" is mentioned as not being allowed to have a cell phone inside. This written policy does NOT exclude the USC from bringing in his cell phone. Membership does have itz privileges ;)

"For the safety and security of all applicants and employees, visa applicants are not permitted to bring cell phones or other electronic devices into the U.S. Embassy. Applicants who bring such devices will be denied entry. Please make arrangements to leave your electronic equipment in a safe location off Embassy grounds during your interview appointment. We regret any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your cooperation.

The OP didn't ask about cell phones...

OP, a hassle-free way to get some pictures is to upload them to a drugstore (such as Walgreens) and print to store. You can then pick them up as quickly as within an hour (some take longer).
